Go to 7:28 in THIS video. The tweet being read shows how these clips are out of context. Hasan said in full context… that “even if there was or wasn’t rape it doesn’t change anything.” Do you think it’s weird they cut that off there?? ….. the “anything” was it doesn’t excuse the slaughter of women and children. In full context he explained how the media was constantly screaming “rape” as the IDF bombed thousands of people every week. This was at the beginning of the war. That’s ONE example and that’s why his viewers defend him bc we know the context.

He provides proof that Twitch props up and promotes these violently anti-American views, spreading the polarization of the topic further. Personally, i was already questioning Hasan , and Ethan did platform him to me specifically, so this content nuke really opened my eyes on why specifically Hasan as a whole wasnt sitting right with me. I think the video gave a new level of info and context a lot of commentary creators can’t give because their focus is usually on condemning Hasan and not going into detail on the intricacies of middle eastern politics.
