Some Indians also choose not to eat meat altogether; I have a few vegetarian family members as well.

Let me clear a few things to help you fellas. Okay, the one with the blue Hindu god, that’s Vishnu, who’s been depicted in a lot of pop culture and he’s very recognizable because of his blue skin. Now for the Mormon clip, Mormon’s believed in have multiple marriages so they practice the art of polygamy even though polygamy has been illegal since 1862. But there are some polygamist cults that still practice it today and many young men and women are trying to escape the church’s beliefs so they can be more free to choose their own life. And in the last one, it’s from a sitcom called ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ which ran for five seasons from 1965 to 1970 and it’s about U.S. astronaut who finds an old genie bottle on a deserted island and he becomes the master to Jeannie, who is, well, a 2000 year old genie and throughout the series, the two end up in different shenanigans which involves Jeannie using her magic to help or to cause more trouble. That’s all I got to say, thank you for your time😊
@Naurdagnor2 жыл бұрын
The "I Dream of Jeannie" refers to creationism, which involves both Judaism and Christian beliefs of how the world came to be, starting with Genesis in the Bible. Honestly, if you read that book in an EXTREMELY basic form, that is how it looks and sounds, that absolutely everything was created in 7 days, There is a verse about how the Supernatural works, though, that time is irrelevant, and these 7 days were from the perspective of a being outside of normal time and space. Thus, the argument is that it happened that way for God, in 7 days time for Him, but rather on Earth, it was far longer. Also, written language was not prevalent as much as spoken for a VERY long time, so take that as you will.

Not everyone in India practices Hinduism. It's a very large, diverse country with over a billion people. There are plenty of Muslims (mostly near the border of Pakistan) and Christians (Christians ventured into Asia trying to convert people centuries before it became widespread in Europe) who don't hold cows sacred and do eat beef. You're not supposed to DELIBERATELY harm a cow that's ventured into public spaces, but they have accidentally wandered into the path of oncoming traffic that couldn't stop in time and you don't get in trouble if the cow gets struck before you can stop.
@shadow_wolfle2567 Жыл бұрын

I have come to theorize that the reason why Glenn hates Brian so much, is because Brian reminds him too much of him and what he could come to be. Don’t get me wrong, Glenn and Brian are both pieces of sh*t, who constantly backstab their close ones and try to justify it, however the main difference is that Glenn is unapologetic about it, while Brian tries to spin it around and try come out to be the moral one. If you think about it, if Glenn became more of an intellectual he would be exactly like Brian. So that’s why he hates him so much, Brian is just all of Glenn’s negative qualities personified and combined with pseudo-intellectualism and smugness.

Jesus himself explicitly said that he didn't come to abolish the (Mosaic) law, but to fulfill it, which is what Christians believe. Judaism was (still is in the view of the Jews) a covenant instituted by God with first Abraham & more formally Moses, according to both Jews & Christians (in the case of Christians it was prior to the Time of Jesus, which is why we still learn about these figures in the Old Testament). Christians merely believe that the Messiah that was prophesied by Isaiah & the other prophets was Jesus, where a lot of comparisons were drawn between his life & these prophesies (in particular within the Gospel of Matthew, which is why it is canonically the first book to appear in the New Testament--despite the fact that the Gospel of Mark was written first--since it was the closest to the Old Testament out of the other Gospels. Once Jesus came to fulfill the covenant with His Passion, Death, & Resurrection, & He commissioned his Apostles to spread the Truth throughout the world did Christianity truly become distinct from Judaism. At least that's what we Christians believe.

Hey guys! You should watch this series called There’s Something About Amy. There’re 3 parts. Technically 4 if you include the starting video of where this timeline takes place in. That video being The Secret History of Sonic and Tails.

Basically Abraham was told by his to sacrifice his son to him, and Abraham was perfectly willing to. He lead his son, Isaac, up to the top of a mountain, tied and blindfolded him, and was about to stab him to death when his gave him a ram to sacrifice last minute. I always loved that joke because the Bible never really said what happened right after. I’ve always wondered what the conversation was between them😂

I actually had a friend who was Mormon. Now I never personally looked into it. But he told me modern Mormons no longer have multiple wives. The only reason they once did, was to help their wife's family. An example would be if a Mormon in past history married a woman. Then that woman's sister married (someone else), had several kids, and her husband died. Women didn't really work for pay years ago (outside of prostitution), and those that did, couldn't earn enough to support their children. So it was that man's duty to marry his wife's sister and support her and her children.
@liammorgan32822 жыл бұрын
This is true. It was used as a way to give women in our church more protection and someone to help them if they needed anything.

As a Mormon I can confirm this

Let me just add that in order to get a second wife back then all parties involved had to go through meetings with church leaders and other family members in order to determine whether or not it would actually be beneficial for them to get married. There was a whole slew of hoops they had to jump through in order to get married to multiple wives. It was always viewed as a necessity nothing else.

The Noah's ark thing isn't real. It's just the mountains somewhat look like a boat but it's off in size and everything. Plus the boat was made of wood so it would of broke down over time, not stay under a mountain
@joshuagross31512 жыл бұрын
Depends how old the wood is. Wood petrification is an interesting phenomenon with old trees and plant matter. At a certain point that the cell structures begin to break down, crystalline minerals and sediments begin to develop in place of the plant, fossilizing it while retaining the original shape.
@JamesThePokemonHunter2 жыл бұрын
@@joshuagross3151 I mean true, that aspect could be possible but once again the measurements are off. Also the fact that the flood was disproven as the local area where people thought there was a flood has tons of evidence of high non-stop rain but the rest of the world was fine
