This is stuff I build into each of the classes I teach so technically y'all have already been training. I usually call it Sensory Awareness Training as it is easier to say and encompasses external and internal cues. Interception is the perception of the body's internal signals/sensations (heartbeat, respiration, safety, and autonomic nervous system activity related to emotions to name a few). They are happening all the time within the body. Interoceptive Awareness is the ability to perceive these subtle signals and is linked to emotional regulation and emotional stability. Is is a valuable tool for our health and wellness. The question I have been asking myself lately is: "What if interoceptive awareness can offer a new option for transformational action?" Come to this practice with curiosity and kindness :-)
