They played it both nights after this one, so I think they might have added it permanently. Definitely a great song, and great show, even though this was my 10th time and they've still never played my favorite song (when I've seen them), "The New". I had hopes they might play it since it was on a few of their festival sets in the summer, but no luck. The crowd was amazing though! Singing along with almost every song, and I mean the whole crowd, and actually making noise for them to come back for the encore. A lot of crowds seem to just expect that and not make much noise, but everyone was stomping and shouting for them, it was great!

nincure I saw them in NY in February, they played The New and Roland which were awesome. Wasn’t expecting them to play either one. Really wanted to see PDA and Stella though

Also, Marauder is one of my favorite albums of theirs. I met Paul Banks in 2004 and I told him I thought they were amazing, he kinda shrugged it off and said something like "we're alright" lol. I am going to try to catch him after the show here and tell him that story! 😂😂😂 Look at them now! I still have the piece of paper he signed for me (it was the only thing I had with me for him to sign!)

Audio on a phone never sounds good but I can confirm they’re awesome live!

This wasn't recorded on a phone, but part of it was the venue. I was up close and it was just too loud. If the mixing is right, the sound comes out great on this camera. But they've never disappointed me! It really does depend a lot on the circumstances of the venue and where I am in the crowd. Too loud and too close doesn't make for good sound unfortunately. Not sure why the comment about his voice. He sounds exactly the same as on the albums!

I can actually say 100% if I had used my phone it would sound a lot worse! 😂
