Aunque conozco canciones de cada uno de sus discos, no soy el gran fanático de Interpol, o almenos no lo era, hasta hoy. Con su voz, la manera nostálgica en que Paul siente las canciones, las guitarras creándome una dualidad de emociones, además llevándome por los recuerdos tristes pero gratificantes de mi alma, terminan de conquistarme. Creo que esto se perderá en abundantes comentarios. Hace 2 años y medio tuve una relación en la cual me enamore inimaginablemente de una chica. Me pasaba días y noches escuchando a Radiohead, Interpol, The Smashing Pumpkins, Travis, Suede, Kasabian, The Killers, Grizzly Bear, U2, etc. En esencia mucho Rock alternativo e indie. Me perdí tanto en esas canciones y su amor por ella que el volver a escucharlas, aún después de algo de tiempo, me provoca una tremenda melancolía. Siento que las canciones las acompañe tanto de momentos con ella que a veces me dan ganas de romper en llanto cada que las vuelvo a escuchar. Son bandas grandiosas con canciones maravillosas...
