"If you don't believe in yourself, don't expect anyone else to." One of the most important skills an interpreter can possess is confidence. You can be the most accurate skilled interpreter out there, but with confidence monolingual clients will never appreciate or reward that skill. You have to sell yourself. You are the professional. Own it!

Confidence comes easy when you know your skills, capabilities and know what you are supposed to do. However, many loose or have no confidence because they are unsure of what to do, how to do it or how to handle each situation. That's why it's so important to self-evaluate, do some box breathing, meditate, train, have a list of terms for those particular assignments (your niche), yes to a "pep talk" with yourself..."I got this, I know how to do this, I know my terms, I'm just the voice, I know what to do and there's no reason to feel scared, afraid, nervous" I got this!
