@@pianoinsights6092 I especially liked the tip of playing accompaniment in left hand if needed. I actually prefer it even in the opening for proper volume control.

Do a tutorial on the appassionata. I want to thank you for helping me in self learning the piano. I was very unfortunate in having parents who didn't believe musical education is important ,Despite me showing musical abilities as early as three like playing by ear. So I am doing it all on my own😢 it's hard but it's worth it.
@pianoinsights60924 жыл бұрын
I wish you the very best in your self-education. Staying with it is what matters.

Regarding the Ab minor triplets in the right hand, the technique you suggest requires a piano with double escapement, something that was not invented until 23 years after LVB wrote this sonata. I wonder how it would have sounded on Beethoven’s piano. No need to wonder, just try playing it on a modern upright piano.

Me again. I've mastered the first bit and just started on the deeper sad part.. I'm stuck on the bit where there is an inverted 'S' ...a gruppetto. The symbol is placed between two notes and although I know to play the note above then the primary note etc. I was hoping your tutorial would show what note the turn refers to as it's placed half way between the d and f and I cant quite catch your fingerwork. Can you help? Thanks.
@pianoinsights60924 жыл бұрын
Play Eb-D-C-D as 64th notes starting on the 6th left hand chord of the measure, and then the F with the next chord. Hope that helps.

Nice video. Unless I'm missing something, T R L R L R is not a palindrome. You'd have to stick a T on the end, but that is the start of the next sequence.
