Armond Johnson murdered four people, including his six-year-old son in July 2019. It started when Johnson confronted his ex-girlfriend Takeyra Collins about her seeing other men. Johnson shot Collins multiple times, resulting in her death, and then set fire to the house. 2-year-old Aubree Stone and 6-year-old Armond Johnson Jr. were in the house and died of smoke inhalation from the fire. As Johnson was running away from the home, he ran into David Cousin Jr., whom he also shot and killed in order to not leave a witness. Armond Johnson was found guilty of the charges of fourteen counts of aggravated murder, three counts of arson, two counts of endangering children, one count of kidnapping, and one count of tampering with evidence. He was given four consecutive sentences of life without parole. Watch the full interrogation of Armond Johnson.

I didn’t realize that he had been sentenced already. I was thinking the Sam thing that the detective was gonna blow a conviction for him because she kept on going at him after he said he wanted a lawyer. The other officer was wise, he shut up, got up and walked out. The female detective apparently does not know the law herself. Yes it’s shocking. Yes he is a monster and innocent people are dead, but she kept say as a woman I am trying to understand. Understand this lady, he asked for his lawyer. Justice was eventually done

Here’s the thing though… what if he’s innocent and they’re only claiming to have this evidence as a bluff? The bottom line is they violated his rights by not ending the interrogation the second he asked to speak to a lawyer. If he is actually innocent what do you think his reaction would be? He would be crying. He would be asking for his grandma, etc. Neither you, nor I are privy to the actual evidence against him. Cops are allowed to lie as they see fit in an attempt to induce a confession or to try to cause a suspect to incriminate himself. He may very well be guilty and if he is I hope he receives the Justice he deserves, but unless I’m sitting in the court room hearing all of the evidence I’m not going to proclaim him either way.

Erm, you have the right to remain silent doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t be held accountable for the things you’ve said without a lawyer present. My cousin went to trial on a murder charge and after asking for a lawyer she was repeatedly questioned and everything she said during the questioning was brought up during the trial. She was a get away driver, did 4 years in COUNTY and then signed for 10 year probation later. The justice system is horrible, she should have gotten at least 15 years for her part in casing the joint and then being the get away driver after the robbery/murder. Imagine being one of the sole reasons a veteran lost his life in front of his 10 year old son and foreign wife and only doing 4 years in county jail, no prison time. I can’t imagine the pain of the son and wife. Cuzz-o should at least be paying child support to the kid since she’s walking around free as a bird and the child lost his father and the wife lost her husband

Since everyone else has pointed out how inept the female interrogator was and how she seriously compromised the case by continuing to question the suspect after he asked for a lawyer, I'll just ask why her male partner didn't cut her off since it seems he did understand the correct process? By letting her continue like that he was equally complicit in breaking the rules and violating this scum-bag's rights, sad to say.

They are supposed to walk away and not say another word. She promised him several times a phone call, then the male detective gets upset because he asked for a lawyer and tells him that he can't make the call. Absolutely unprofessional. The real reason why she’s asking so many questions about the phones in the beginning of this video. Is to get him use to answering questions (warming him up) all the information on the phones will be passed down to the forensics department and they will pull all the GPS and information out of his phone. Even if he’s telling the truth about the phone and locations. They still need to prove that on their own. These cops aren’t asking him questions to help understand. They’re doing it to draw him in more.

Im assuming that, as the detective didn't ask questions after this POS requests a lawyer, the appointed council either didn't pursue the issue or had the court order anything said after his request deemed inadmissible. The detective definitely needs to work on questioning techniques, as one day soon the attorneys they come up against won't be court appointed & will wipe the floor with them & an offender will walk!!
