I honestly genuinely enjoy the role, doing damage is great and all, but I enjoy frustrating the enemy team by imposing my bulky self between them and my squishier teammates, while said teammates do what needs to be done. Also it’s always satisfying to peel someone off of my carry or mid, right when they were sure they were getting a kill.

Just do it that’s what I do. Most people understand what we are doing. I come in lane take a wave maybe stay and help with the second then leave. IF they are telling me to fuck off I still leach because again it won’t hurt them that I take some farm but it could lose us the game if I’m level 12-13 and their solo and support are 18 and 20.

A build I’ve been experimenting with since the nerf to tankiness is simply building to make my adc as powerful as humanely possible. I like this build on backline, peely supports the best like khepri and geb, but toss in an early tyrannical plate helm and you’ve got a damn good aggressive beater build too. After building your core (blessing, boots of choice, gauntlet, relic dagger), immediately go into an emperor’s armor, then a shogun’s kusari. Sell your blessing for a pestilence (or heartward if they have a second magical that isn’t about healing, like ao kuang) then finish your build with a sovereignty. With this build, if you stick near your adc, you provide them with an astronomical increase in damage, survivability, and utility. This is definitely the kind of build you’d want with a hunter mid, or mage adc mid, so consider that too.

I would say the end of landing phase is when the first tower goes down. This comes from my experience in a lot of other MOBAS so just my tip for a new player who is confused about a good idea of when that transition happens. Hope this helps someone, much love ✌🏼

Important thing to note is that if you get solo exp from the phantom minion and I think 1 other minion if not only the phantom one in the first wave you'll get level 2 right after clearing the first wave which can be used to catch people off guard and get an early kill with aggressive supports.

Best part about being support, if your teamates are good and know how to play the game efficiently, you can just relax and get carried throughout games. All you got to do is be a present tank and basically just make sure your allies can get kills.

TBH play whatever feels good to you, rather than forced to play a god that you do not like.Seems like you are pretty new to smite so take your time and try every role till you eventually settle down for a role. Well if you find support interesting you can learn both support and adc to cover 2 roles that go together in lane. Believe me there is nothing worse than an adc/supp main stuck in solo(which will happen).

I actually like geb but I feel a few tweaks will really make him very viable they need to give his 1 turn radius like they did for kuzenbo then either let the fully charged version slow multiple gods not fully charged or push multiple gods fully charged with a slight wind up time decrease so it will be viable that would be a good change and they should change his ultimate so he cracks the ground and leaves an AOE cripple it would be better for a team fight ultimate than just a stun it does debuff but gods can just beads it and get out or just jump out

As izzy I take first wave from duo then go straight up mid till support or carry come to put me in my place by that time ive done my job I hit a tower made enemy rotate all within 5 min of the start of the game... if my support has a brain it can play under tower or let me and it can do its job and I can stop doing its job by rotating... no point sharing xp and gold in duo.... waste of time only trash do it. Only plays that should be made in duo are ganks... go steal enemy purple at start kill them thats a play... if you start at ur purple and shove wave just dc... u might as well just play bots or dc...

It is however not all can benefit from it. It offers tons of CDR which is good if youre lacking, but quite a few items offer it so you need to watch for overcapping. Also make sure the ult shield is viable as for..say khepri its really not useful to shield yourself when youre ulting an ally

I will quote what TheOtherFrost says: "Just because you can win in laning phase, it does not mean you can win in teamfights" Except if they really want to f6 at 10.My god i have seen MANY people surrendering at 10 mins because they get killed by good early game gods. When the lategame comes their comp crumbles, who will peel the carries, who is going to initiate the teamfights, after 30 mins whatever lvl lead they had now is gone and now pure teamfight is all that matters. In casual conquest people want short 10 mins surrenders or one sided pomp stomp, anything else is unacceptable and should give up. You are using this mentality to your advantage since they cannot think how the game will be like in 10/20 mins latter.

The only real support is a healer and teleport relic.... bruiser supports are more fun cause they can tank its pretty much putting ur fav tank and solo build in duo lane if you wanna be a bruiser tank support. But a proper support is a healer like aphro, yemoja change ect... lets the carry ( aka warrior or assassin get strong in their glass cannon builds) A hunter really doesnt even need a support unit unless they are just trash.... if they cant solo duo lane they suck... they cant carry and they cant defend. I Wont even share lane as a hunter carry Ill leave duo cause its just dumb and waste of time to fight for gold adn xp against your support that cant even hurt anything.... I go help mid and solo till the support dies or learns its job and rotates to help team then ill go solo duo lane with my hunter... if my a non traditional carry like a mele carry its nice to have ur support till level 5 so you dont get bullied dived or out farmed too fast cause its going to happen... cause ur not a ranged carry. you will have to make ur gold by making better plays and ganks... unless the enemy is just complete morons and always stay in their lane while ur whole team death balls everything.

I see it mainly on Gods that HP tank and troll. Mostly that nonsense is on Yemoja or Geb. Mainly gods that have relatively good kits that doesn't need cooldown or damage to heavily. Sadly these days I rarely see someone pick a Guardian or support focused god. Alot of people going duo with a burst Mage and a Hunter or an Assassin and Hunter. Even saw two mages in duo once. Its annoying how insane burst is since the recent updates and changes.

Hunter is not carry... the carry is the person that is constantly killing people and top gold/xp. normally that is ur jungle or solo for most of the game.... ur hunter is a late game carry if its trash or an early game carry or an all game carry if its brain is attached to its noggen and will be taking mid tower before it takes the first tower in duo lane to put pressure on the enemy. Whom ever is rotating making plays is who you support... you dont support the dumb ass that constantly dies by over extending without a team. I wont even save that person as support not work the risk. If you hunter is constantly pushing past river at start ... just let it feed its brains out and leave it while u go mid... u will be a better player for it.

Yes, you don't last hit minions as support (especially early game) and you need guardian's blessing to not fall behind.

If ur playing as a back line healer support yes.. if your an agressive support you suck ass if you pick a support blessing you need a warriors blessing and tele relic for tower like solo lane. And you just walk out and fuck everyone up all game then retreat..its constant pressure... most guardians dont have strong player heals so they are better off with a warr blessing and going bruiser... if they dont... RIP ur game is going to suck asssssssssss cause your support will always be behind you ready to peel for you like thats just some great accomlishment while u laugh at their half retarded asss for not being able to box two people at start. Support is the role that is most behind on gold and you should be letting your adc last hit minions so you absolutely need guardian's blessing. I love playing support, but the only time I hate it is when the enemy mid rotates into duo and not getting a call put despite my mid being in mid, seeing them go into jungle, and not moving to help when they see their lane in ours ping on a ward. Then there are also the trolls that run double mage or damage mage and Hunter in duo and deserve nothing but a dissapointed head shake for being that cheap. But if the jungler is competent then those max damage duo teams are bound to get punished hard by ganks. As a support I focus on letting my Carry feed off mins and kills to the best of my ability and will take hits for them and if I know it cannot be avoided, fight to the death so they can escape or win a fight. I'd rather die than let my carry get shut down early and end up causing our damage to get gimped. Its best to avoid dying at all though lol.

Yeah as a support I also rather let my adc kill and just protect them and heal them and body block the enemy and if needed sacrifice myself so my adc can survive but I swear the worst thing ever is when you sacrifice yourself as a support just to hear your adc who was about to die but didn't because you safed him talking shit about you... I swear when shit like that happens I wish I could punch them in the face...
