Professional and not trying to prove anything. These are the videos we need for games, especially Smite. Straight up information and kept at a good pace with no high-horse extras. I've been playing Smite since the beta on and off. I'm no expert, hell I'm probably not even intermediate since I will take months off in between since most of the people I used to play with quit. I still like the game and when I revisit the game, as I am now, I refresh on everything and try to keep up on changes. Good stuff.

@@tokofukawap4055 Smite is Conquest and Arena liekg amemodes. Conquest aka DOTA aka Defend of the ancients was just one of 100000 community mad maps in warcraft 3 Starcraft 2 era. there were also tower defense maps, RPG maps, Arena gladiator maps... community made era.also Multiplayer Online Battle Arena hello
@BelleVanSchijndel3 жыл бұрын
@@GamingDualities ...no. MOBAs originated from Blizzard's StarCraft (1998) with a suite of game editing tools called StarEdit. The tools allowed owners to design and create custom maps that allowed play that was different from the normal maps. A modder known as Aeon64 made a custom map named Aeon of Strife (AoS) that became popular. On the Aeon of Strife map, players controlled a single powerful hero unit fighting amidst three lanes which were protected by defensive towers. However, the terrain outside these lanes was nearly vacant. The WoW modder you're talking about, Eul, converted Aeon of Strife into DotA. You are correct in saying that DotA is largely attributed to being the most significant inspiration for the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game genre in the years to come. In late 2009, Riot Games' debut title League of Legends was released. It was initially designed by Steve Feak, one of the original creators of DotA Allstars, who went on to apply many of the mechanics and lessons he learned from the mod. Riot are the ones who began to refer to the game's genre as a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). Need I remind you that the closed beta was definitely Conquest, and not Arena? Stop gatekeeping video games. It makes you look like a dunce.

Actually i can be mistaken but i was tanking any jungle bosses with osiris solo with death embrace, about 2.2 attack speed and 160-180 prots, so u can tank it and solo it but you'll waste a lot of time and you cant secure it (probably will take from 1-2 min fire and 30-70 sec on fury)
@BelleVanSchijndel3 жыл бұрын
You can, yes, but taking yourself out of the fight for 2 minutes as a solo laner can be absolutely devastating for your teammates who are now fighting a 4v5. Fire Giant isn't too useful if your entire team is dead because they were missing a tank.

2:59 speaking of order and chaos... does anyone know specifically if gods are sometimes thrown in randomly on a side they normally aren't apart of? I'm really curious because I know little to nothing about Smite's lore... I've always wondered why there's talk about "endless war" against each other from their in game voice lines. It seems strange when a god of order taunts another god of order.
@paddyq32353 жыл бұрын
Lol the whole chaos and order schtick is more to make smite stand out. It has nothing to do with the gameplay, you can be an order god in a chaos team. Really chaos and order is just to add cool art stuff and make smite stand out from different MOBAS.

So how difficult is it going to be to grind through ranked conquest as a support main? Am I wasting my time or is this doable?
@garrettf14123 жыл бұрын
I used to be a support main in past seasons, realized I couldnt carry very well that way, moved to solo and found success (it also really helped my supporting as my aggression and lane control while tanking increased exponentially so from one support main to another I do encourage you to try some solo laning.) But with that being said, I find supporting to be a lost art, not many people know how to do it well, and there are alot of new people that really need experienced tanks with good CC to literally support them. Also your capability with support has skyrocketed this season in both defence and offence with more power options, and team auras on starters so all that definitely makes me feel SO much more impactful from support and especially if I am a better support than my enemy you can really tell you're making a difference. But, it is very hard to carry from support. Not impossible I suppose... but very hard. So. Idk if this helped but, that's my opinion on the subject. God speed. Edit: I wanted to add, yes it is doable, bad players are carried by decent players or by cheesing roles all the way up to plat or higher all the time, I know you aren't looking to be carried, and I do truly value the support role, and all authentic support players but essentially by taking the role you are saying "I will help you" not "I will carry you" so your fate is literally in your teams hands. And we both know there are some teams.... that just CAN NOT be helped and should be put down. Ranked is no different. So again. With that. God speed.

well it is a Conquest guide for noobs. not much about power spikes, counter building (Witchblade against hunters, runic shield against 3 magical, stonebinding for pressure guardians, valor. void shield if you or enemy team has 3 physical...), rotations, pressure...how to use your lead you gain as solo laner...or class tips like always 1 pen item on a warrior... or good things like if u get T3 power shoes at your first return u are doing good...or when u buy warrior tabi you can start clearing wave in 1 rotation.... most Conquest comps have 3 phisical, while arena has 3 magical. in Conquest you gain more value from basic attacks, in Arena you don't really have the time to stand still and use basic attacks. Because most Conquest teams have 3 phisical...Sovereignty and Witchblade even better counter items .Witchblade is essential to counter Hunters in the late game. if they have 3 magical or you have magical laner consider Runic shield. or mybe jotuns wrath fr pressure. also forcing players that wanna be ranked players in Smite into Conquest is not really a healthy thing for your ranked playerbase. especially Arena fans. Also Conquest is about snowballing. who can get a bigger lead first. some Conquest game are won at 3 minute mark. but there is always possibility to come back. if you finish your tier 3 Shoes in your first return youa're doing really well. once you have power shoes you can clear whole wave in like 2 skills. good power spike...so starter,w arrior tabi...than u can add antoher power spike item like jotuns wrath...or hybrid counter item like runic shield/valor or u can go winged blade if you like playing aggressively or to coutner ganks
