Inters3ct, first off I love your videos, always watch start to finish, and your guides are hands down the best on KZbin! Instead of bashing my friends or trying to coach them I simply forward them a link to your guides. I have been a Jungle main for about two years now and think that you hit all of the key points. I recommend that you take a serious second look at Ninja Tabi. I agree with you that Talaria at the moment is more meta, but think about it like this, you sacrifice the power difference for the utility talaria provides you with move speed, but I do the same thing for the attack speed with Ninja. Gods that eat up mana get the extra few abilities worth and you’re able to pump out two sometimes four extra autos on a gank which a lot of the time makes a difference in securing a kill. Not to mention farming feels better if you’re caught between cool downs or trying to optimize your buff clear. Which brings me to another thing! I think that a video solely on how to clear buffs optimally with different gods in the jungle would be something much needed. I watch some people underutilize auto attack chains or overuse abilities to farm a camp. Hitting the correct minion at a buff with the right auto in the chain can definitely help you clear a buff 1-3 seconds faster, when added up over the course of two rotations could easily put you a level ahead, help you secure neutral buffs with less opposition or even invade a red early. I think it’s an important facet of the game that is never talked about. Keep doing what you’re doing man I always enjoy your content!

easiest thing I can tell you. once you hit level 4-5 depending on how duo lane goes, rotate to middle lane and support them, (they are you're baby early/mid game) after that you can rotate around the map helping teammates out. but you still have to get xp an level up, you get xp by splitting lane minions (with your mid lane in early-mid game )and get the rest by being in team fights and sometimes splitting xp camps. once you're in late game you're job (depending on what god you're playing) is to mainly sit by/infront of your carries (mid/adc)or dive the enemy backline. you have to protect or either engage depending on the situation. sorry if this was rushed im kinda drunk while typing this

I just logged onto Smite for the first time today, and it felt nice to find multiple gods with kits and design that I like so fast. Given that jungle seems to be my favourite role in League (in part due to the issues I have in the others, and how different jungling is from the lanes), I think I’ll stick with it in Smite. Camazotz reminds me of Kha’Zix a lot so maybe I’ll give him a whirl. Having all the gods unlocked in the training area really makes trying new champions out a lot more feasible, even if it’s just basic demonstrations of what they do. I really wish LoL implemented something like this, as I’ve only been playing that for a couple months as well.

I gank duo to try to relieve pressure and force the enemy back and when I don't get a kill I just get spam pinged by one of the duo laners telling me I'm trash and to never play jungle ever again. I have just recently been picking up jungle and i have noticed so many players rage at their jungle for not being in the same place as the enemy jungler. NEVER do a carry's buff. you will deny them xp and put them behind the enemy carry. I'm a jungle and carry main and I know to never mess with a carry's xp.

I would recommend you to pay attention whenever your support, mage and solo laners force squishies' relics with an ult, specially beads so you can either chase them through the jungle, land a global ult like Thor, Rata or Thana's, or just make sure they don't have these relics in next teamfight. This role is specially risky in lategame and you should really play safer, by trying to poke the enemies with your abilities while still being in a good spot.

What about taking a wave in a lane where your teammate died? Say mid dies n you're able to take the wave before they get back?

Consider it the same as anything else, the risk v reward. Its risky showing face and taking the time to clear that wave but it is good farm and sometimes defending the tower is a good choice. You're telling the enemy where you are and being an assassin usually means you'll be basic attacking that wave for a minute to clear it so just take that into account. Sometimes if a lane is just gettin shit on the best thing to do is put pressure on a winning lane, hopefully the winning lane is duo if the losing lane is mid, this way it frees up your support to help out the feeding mid laner. If solo is losing solo just loses. Its unfortunate but you dont want to spend alot of time there as you dont get alot back for defending that lane. Your solo is (should be) a tank, so they've got a better chance playing from behind compared to anyone else on the field.

For every new jungler, focus on how you play from behind. Often newer jungles suffer from Unga Bunga syndrome and just W key from the first wave and die. If that happens you can fix it if you play well. If you or your team is losing figure out where you can make the biggest change and make it happen. The jungler is the one sparking fights for a lot of the early game, you can turn around a lane with one good gank as long as you watch your map and identify where the gank is needed.

You can have fun with ah muzen cab in jungle if you know the role. Try to build crit with poison shurkian to get extra dots. It's a fun build to try if you're comfortable in the jungle. And don't forget get best skin, mothman

I’m a diamond 4 jungled with 2050 MMR and people do not understand that you do not have to follower the other teams jungle. Solo and duo lane get ganked and they spam for jungle help which is completely out of the way of the jungle.

I’m pretty late to this but for any new junglers (or just players in general) don’t get tilted. Games go wrong. You make mistakes, teammates won’t follow up, you have to shake it off and try again. Don’t get discouraged.

I would like to add some changes to the guide: 1. You should generally not be starting tier 1 morning star unless you are thanatos as all of the options slow down your power curve 2. On a good portion of assassins tier 1 katana is better than mace (Mercury, Arachne, Bakasura) 3. Majority of auto-attack based assassins use Ninja tabi better (Kali, Nemesis, Erlang Shen, Bakasura, Arachne) 4. Talaria boots should only be bought in certian niche cases. These being scenarios where you can't really get movement speed otherwise and are mostly there to annoy the enemy team or are playing an ult bot. So Serqet, Poseidon, Hun batz are good examples. On mercury you should not get Talaria becuase it actually lowers his damage and the extra movement speed gets drd if you get items like stone cutting sword which he heavily benefits from. 5. Void shield has received a significant nerf so the % pen isn't useful unless they have 2 tanks who you are regularly targeting. A better option here would be shifter's shield. 6. On the awilix build you can in addition swap jotuns for items like shifters shield or stone cutting sword because they provide overall more dmg as she doesn't need that much cooldown. 7. For bakasura. He mainly plays that go in dump your kit and auto playstyle but he isn't as tanky as kali due to her ult and passive and is easily shut down by antiheal so getting something like Urchin after getting 3 katana items and then going exe and qin's makes his mid to late way more viable. 8. Da ji. As far as she goes she is a character that gets least value out of crusher because majority of her dmg is tick/dot so it counteracts it and she doesn't need attack speed because all of her autos come from AA cancels. So a full build would be: Jotun's (or Brawler's if there is no healing) Warrior tabi (always she needs the power and doesn't need movement) transendence (if ahead Arondight if behind) hydra's lament Bloodforge Heartseeker and Shifter's shield to finish the build off. Again if you need extra penetration Titan's bane always works however da ji is a character who specifically targets squishies and not tanks. 9. A full Kali build goes as follows: Crusher Ninja Tabi Hastened Katana Qin's sais Stone cutting sword Magi's cloak and then for boots executioner. 10. On mercury : Stone cutting sword Warrior tabi Rage Arondight Bloodforge Deathbringer and for boots Titan's bane 11. One small addition to the Farming section as i am well aware Inter wasn't able to fit all of it in. But in the earliest stage of the jungle clear you basically don't have enough dmg to just outright clear the jungle. Majority of jungle gods have an attack chain so you need to learn how to mid-max your auto chain in order to get the best benefit on each god for clearing. Some examples (Majority of these are on the camps you aren't splitting so after the speed buff): Da ji: Auto attack each of the side creeps once and then use 3 hits of your 2nd ability to clear the camp (this is until you get the ability to lvl 2) Thor: same thing 2 autos on the small creeps and then your 3 Kali: On the back camp while doing your first route use your first auto of the chain on the side creep then your 2 then again the first auto on the other small creep and they will die. When doing blue use the first auto on the big creep the next 2 smaller autos on the side creeps and then throw out your ability ( this makes sure your 2 clears the side creeps and you can continue focusing the dps on the camp) 12. Even though majority of players get hog nowadays it is not a must buy item by any means. Majority of junglers clear the jungle and are on time without it and having more potions helps you fight early on. So just get the feel for your early clear and your early fight potentials. Gods like kali da ji pele thor thanatos do not need this help and are better off fighting in the first 2 lvls I have probably missed something. However the guide Inter has made is incredibly well done. These are some small things you can add to your play to get a bigger advantage in the game.
