Another great series of mods are Hiraeth's class mods! She did amazing with all of them and added mythologically inspired classes like Trickster which is based on trickster gods in mythology. Perfect for a game about becoming God.

As a far warning for those looking into the aforementioned "Achievements mod by Kassent," one of the recent updates to Divinity patched out the mod. Instead, I highly recommend looking up "Norbyte's Script Extender," which is still active and updated. The mod creator has a steam community guide that shows how to install it in less than a minute! It's extremely easy, and he even states that the 'mod' will be functioning through any further updates!

As I was researching the game, it turns out the the developers have added some of these mods as in-game QoL toggles known as "Gift Bags such as Free Pet Pal, Infinite Spirit Vision, Fort Joy Respec, Shared Haggling, etc. Edit: They disable achievements, so you may want to get the mods after all if that's important.

if you have the script extender, acheivements will actually still trigger, despite the games warning that they are disabled.

Thanks for this. I haven't seen much up to date content for this game so I was excited when this popped up. A lot of these mods were active in my first playthrough, but it was hosted by my friend so I had no idea what was modded and what was vanilla. I'm doing a vanilla playthrough now but my next will certainly utilize a lot from this list. Keep up the great work!

For anyone intending to use these - divine talent pack is pretty buggy hasnt been updated in forever.... and the organized containers will make some of the item icons invisible if your playing a heavily modded playthrough. Otherwise decent list.

I also recommend the mod that allows CC to go through armor at a chance. For example if a player's/enemy's armor is 50% hurt the CC have 50% chance to go through. Makes combat more tactic and fun!

​@@fishyjja knowing when to risk a cd on a chance to gain an advantage is a skill that involves using tactics, unless you choose to save scum until you get the result you want. A big part of tatics is adjusting to unknows, or variance. Just like anything placed into a game rng is something you need to include with a deliberate plan in mind.

I just want a mod that makes Unique Sets scale with Level... The Braccus Rex Set and the PIrate Captain Set look so damn cool, but you have to replace them around Level 11 at the latest because they just dont keep up any more, and thats a damn shame.

I think Divinity has so much more to offer with mods , endless possibility. Lets face it the base game is cool but its also completly unbalanced a lot of talents are just not worth it where the few overpowered ones feel like you get something out of it cuz they are that strong and the others feel very lackluster and you think about why you even took them which is weird. You tend to take the best ones early and the worse (complimentary) ones later when it should be the other way around. Another Important thing is that item distribution especially potions are balanced around crafting your own stuff, which also includes planting your own stuff. BUT planting is so incredibly broken you can print money infinitly with this but also start every fight with stuff like +11 str/int/con for 3 turns or +2 ap for 3 turns and with master chef these effects should be doubled (not sure if the time or the potency is doubled regardless both is giga broken). You can do this as early as coming to fort joy and it makes a lot of planning and playing irrelevant. BUT stuff like potions (atleast for casuals) around you planting your own shit and crafting your own potions because you do not find enough shit on your own which contributes to the "either you use the system and have infinite Money and overgeared stats or you have literally 0 potions" If you can get mods to balance some of that stuff then that would make a lot of the systems in place even better and give you a better experience so i encourage (hehe) everyone to try some of them out and i wanna thank Inters3ct for the video :)

Some you probably could but base game is really good on it's own. Depending on if you care about achievements you can use the in game grab bag system. Basically they are 'official mods' which have things like the free pet pal talent cos that's annoying to spend a perk point on, and you can also have the resurrect by sleeping mod which is just a nice mod especially for the early game when you don't know what you are doing.

Just play it honestly. I was the same, I saw this game on steam and thought it looked cool, realised it was turn based and went "oh well" clicking off the page... Then I got recommendation after recommendation I realised I can't judge the game based off not liking the idea of turn based. So I bought it and loved it, now I am not only more willing to play turn based games I don't judge anything that quickly.

The most annoying thing about Divinity 2 is how locked down exploration is by level gating and how long the level/reward times are. There are a lot of things to like about Divinity but playing it recently is a reminder of why I’d rather be roaming around Skyrim or Fallout.

I went with conflux and was happy - it adds new bosses, spells, enemies, and uniques. Unleashed is more faithful to vanilla.

Unleashed is way more compatible with other mods, it even automatically adjusts mod added skills and whatnot to bring them in line with its own balance. Conflux is more of a standalone experience.

I would love mod support on console. I've gotten all the achievements on both games and have beaten both of them 5ish times each at least. The gift bags are nice but we haven't gotten anything new in a super long time. I've personally been waiting for a official playable Imp and Orc race but I'm not holding my breath. Some official DLC content would be nice too, but I think Larian has abandoned this game at this point.
