Hi shona , mera beta neev se one month ki chota hai. App jab se pregnant thi tab se har ek video dekti hu . Bohot accha lagta hai.aj jo apne bola pura k pura sach hai , maine bhi love marriage kiya hai , mere husband banglore me job karta tha or mai bhi job karti thi. Shadi k 3 saal bad wo job chor k gaon aa giya family buisness k liye. Mujhe bhi ana para gaon . I am maithil so I understand what you might be experiencing as cultural difference. One of my cousin brother married some one from other state and unfortunately she couldn't continue to stay together as there were too many differences and adjustment that earlier she did not anticipate. So yes even though Bihar and UP seems very similar but it's not at many levels

He never needed to adjust as he was never hard core firm person, He is more mangalorian than Gujarati I feel because hjs college in Mangalore has made remarkable changes in his personality and all in good sense + I don't have mayka so he never needed to behave like a Bihari Damaad so living a normal metropolitan husband life without any major shift after marriage 🙂
