I drove the entire length of I-15 in CA when I went from Vegas to San Diego and back! My favorite part had to be climbing mountain pass.

Fantastic part of the nation to drive in. I also like I-40, south of the Mojave, from Needles to Barstow. I like driving through the Mojave as well, because I'm nuts. This New Yorker loves travelling through the parallel that features joshua trees, like we see here.

I’ve driven i15 to/from Vegas 100’s of times ( from inland empire) in extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Mountain Pass is stunning covered with snow. It’s one section of interstate you have to really be careful out there with other drivers. Great tunes, Kyle.

Nice video, I really liked the music (unlike some commenters)! It's cool to see this road on video again. Brightline West is going to build a high-speed rail line in the median of the freeway, with the hopes of alleviating traffic (or at least providing an alternative to sitting in traffic) between Las Vegas and Rancho Cucamonga, where people can then transfer to a Metrolink train to get to Union Station in downtown LA. They want to have it done in time for the 2028 Olympics, which is quite a tight construction schedule. We'll see if they can pull it off and whether it will prove to be a success! At least by building it in the highway median in the middle of the desert, they don't have to deal with much of the issues (property owners, NIMBYs, lawsuits, etc.) that the California High-Speed Rail project has had to deal with in the Central Valley.

I know it complicates things when you use copyrighted music but I do like the videos more! Thanks, loved the tunes. You have a video with "In a Big Country" and "Horse with No Name" I really like also!

Drove here with my Dad in June 2022. One of the best drives ever since I am from New York. It was like a whole other world.

Fellow Road Warrior FreewayJim had a classic video of I-15 from Prism to Barstow released nearly 8 years ago. & looking at that video (which is still up) & this, one can see the changes that happened with the Interstate in the nearly 8 years between these two- from the southbound lanes of I-15 maintaining that 3rd lane after Exit 1 as it enters CA (& losing it shortly afterwards) to the Inspection Center being relocated from Yermo to farther north of the freeway close to the state line. Jim's video also had a great soundtrack. & I'm glad Kyle followed suit in using copyrighted music here- given how rarely he uses such music in his videos now. Hope you & your grandpa enjoyed y'all time in Sin City. Hopefully you managed to get more footage from the area like the newly extended parts of I-11.

Kyle, thought you might enjoy this, maybe have already seen it tho:kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIqbdX98rphkeMk. Also, if you are a Metallica fan, check this out:kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6KseWybr5yXb6M. I have never been a Metallica fan, but after seeing the skating video (always been a fan of ice skating), I started researching their music and found that there is a lot of it I like, hahaha.

AWFUL music for this video. I had to turn down the sound. Your music for your other videos is infinitely better.
