Well, he raises a good point. I, also, would have preferred for Nolan to focus on the plain, old, real dangers of exploring interstellar space than the binding thoughts of love, which unite us all. Kubrick got it right, somehow. But, I still loved this film and I'm going to see it again. And possibly, again, after that. It is THAT beautiful to watch.

Another great review, would you ever consider introducing a rating scale for your reviews?

Thanks for watching. As far as rating scales, I don't like using them myself. I have trouble distilling all of my thoughts down to a number or a letter grade. I try instead to describe the best and worst things about the movie with the hope that viewers will have enough information to decide for themselves whether to see it.

Good review. I really liked this film. I get where some are not 100% in with complaints about the sappy parts, but I liked those as parts as well as the science. I loved The Dark Knight, but liked less The Dark Knight Rises. I find Interstellar somewhere in between for me.

Thanks Garry. I totally agree with your placement of Interstellar between The Dark Knights.

I really enjoyed the visuals and music. Acting was good, but checked out on some of the logic in the plot.

Nice review. It's a bit what I'd feared it would be but now my expectations are set I guess.
