5am for work?! Sorry. I would spend my morning working out so that I am fresh in the morning. Never slogging like this. Her voice is so nice to hear though 😌

That was a good interview with Ms. Sridevi. She was humble and clear in answering. We generally hear that speak to your user regularly and she said that's what she is doing regularly to understand and get feedback from them. Good one overall

When you say Doc Writing, can you provide examples of the types of documents you create?
@CareerSchool3 жыл бұрын

Good morning mam. Am a agricultural engineering student. Can I apply for PM in Amazon? I have also some technical knowledge and I didn't do my MBA. Hope for your reply.
@CareerSchool3 жыл бұрын
thank you for the comment. I would say that it is more realistic to start with something that is not a PM and move to a PM role within the company.

Is having an MBA degree necessary to qualify for Product Management role. Is it possible to get shortlisted for interview with 4 yrs of experience as Analyst. Please let me know.
@CareerSchool3 жыл бұрын
It is definitely not impossible. But I would always recommend you look into roles that more closely relates to your current skill/experience. you can always switch roles after joining. I would recommend checking this video out where Diane switches role from Liberty Mutual Business Analyst --> Amazon BIE --> Amazon Product Manager. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaG6qGSHg8aLiKs

@@CareerSchool I get that , when asked about a typical work day she walked through a 14 hour work day but she also said great work life balance which is contradictory
@erabhikdasgupta2 жыл бұрын
Not always a 14 hour workday. Mostly I hardly have even 8 hours of work. Only during grooming sessions, writing product backlogs is what is time consuming. Rest times its most analysis of gathered data. 14 hours time is mostly interactions with enginnering team, clients, stakeholders, which is more of keeping everyone in loop and ensuring all are at sync, motivated to deliver best performances.
