@@elb7432 MMA is mixed martial art, that means it incorporates any martial art from all over the world. and weili admitted she uses mostly sanda influences in her fighting and sanda is chinese kungfu, also she obviously uses alot of wingchun influences, here is a video she visited the wingchun birthplace of foshan, and she said wingchun appears to be very useful for close combat UFC cage fighting and incoporates wingchun in her MMA fighting style, and guess what after she applied wingchun she became UFC champion! kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3STZ5WuhMxqrc0

@@elb7432 read up on the definition of sanda, its a combination of different style of kungfu, its the MMA of kungfu developed by the chinese army. I quote: "Wushu Sanshou is a martial art which was originally developed by the Chinese military based upon the study and practices of traditional Kung fu and modern combat fighting techniques" it has a lot of throwing, grapling and wrestling elements, which is perfect of UFC fights.

@@elb7432 sanda wrestling is inspired by Shuai jiao, which is a Beijing style wrestling. grappling is derived from qinna techniques, which is based from shaolin kungfu. kickboxing is not a style, but a fighting category, which means competitive boxing with kicks, originated in japan. chinese kungfu has alot of fighting styles that incorporate punches and kicks, so it is considered kickboxing aswell. do some research before spouting out nonsense!

@@BingDwenDwen Just stop. Traditional Kung Fu is not overly effective in combat sports. This has been proven several times. Of course you can find references on the net that modern combat sports were influenced by Kung Fu since it simply is its cultural predecessor (and practitioners are proud of it -- rightly so). The only reason I think this must be mentioned is that people might get seriously hurt using Kung Fu in an MMA fight so please stop spreading misinformation.
