Ronnie is possibly the most beloved rock star there ever was. Such a sweet talented guy who would have contributed so much more to music if not stricken with this awful disease. RIP Plonk

Love this man. Such a warm spirit and sly humor came through in every thing he wrote. Just listening to him talk makes me happy. Grace, grit and humor.

I'll NVER forget what he told an interviewer when asked, "Do you ever ask, 'why me?'" And he says, "Why NOT me- I ain't so special". And I thought, THAT'S the attitude I'm gonna have if I'm ever stricken.

I find myself taking solace in these videos of Ronnie discussing MS. I've garnered more information about this condition from listening to Ron than any neurologist or MS nurse I've encountered since my own diagnosis.

Almost thirty-seven years later, there still isn’t enough research done on autoimmune diseases. One of my relations came down with myasthenia gravis, another autoimmune neuromuscular disease similar to MS, and no one could offer constructive advices, just like Ronnie and Boo said then. Everything I learned about how to deal with autoimmune disease came from learning about Ronnie’s experience. Thank you, Ronnie Lane and Boo Oldfield!

A brave couple fighting against the odds. The faces would never have reached the heights they did without Ronnies song writing, He never got paid for the contributions he made

Beautiful man and musician. There are many cruel afflictions, that us humans suffer from, for a musician, MS, surely must be the cruelest.

Ronnie Lane was my grandfather's 1st cousin! I listen to his music everyday, and I wish that I could have met him.

I have MS too and live in the US. I don’t know if anyone here uses those hyperbaric chambers out now for MS but there is still no cure. The drugs are meant to slow the progress, but there are some people like me that the drugs do nothing for. I am now a quadriplegic. It’s a really devastating disease.

Ain't it funny how people lose there accents ,he has touches of it but ,he's pretty well spoken compared to interviews when he's in he's twenties ,I suppose mixing with people around the world changes how you talk

As if the way he talks is important. He appears natural to me and the way he talks is immaterial compared to his condition.
