It’s so good that the ownership is happy to continue to keep us informed. We know a blow by blow daily commentary is neither possible nor desirable as discussion over potential sponsors, new players or stadium development is subject to confidential negotiations. But having the CEO give a positive summary of recent changes and departures is what we have missed having. So thank you to the owners and Darren for sharing this with us. @@CombinationWeRevealmonths ago Eddie was asked IF the FA came calling …..he said he would be honoured but he has not (as far as Iam aware) said that he will take up the job in the present time which means now. Because he was asked months ago the club are aware of the situation and I am sure that they will have already asked Eddie at the time what’s it going to be otherwise it’s a waste of time for both the club and Eddie being in Germany at this present time never mind getting players in to suit HIS game . The club would have had a new manager signed up along with the recent signing of Mitchell.

If Lee Carson gets the job (and I think he probably will) then that will change, Gordon was his best player when England won the u21 euros. Carson is well aware of exactly how good he is. Think he'd be quite likely to bring Livramento into the England squad as well, and because of his background as u21 manager would be looking at younger players in general. I think Hall would be a good shout for England at LB if he has a good season this year, he looked very promising for us at the end of last season
