What pisses me off is that we missed out on Millar because of Lowe’s inflexibility. Should have signed him as a winger, £1.5m to Hull for gods sake. A winger that scares full backs would have achieved more than being glued to a back 3. Fuming.

Rovers fan in peace. These are the kind of stupid decisions we do at Ewood. What a prize chump Lowe is for not making this decision at the end of last season. Totally makes your summer and preseason a write -off, and gives the new guy such little time to assess the current squad, get the team playing how they want, and identify and bring in new players to bolster the squad. That's a tough ask of anyone. If he's fit enough to take it on (and I don't know if he is), Tony Mowbray is a safe pair of hands. Heard Steve Kean is still looking too😂.

What worries me is we are a club that could easily slip back to nothingness in League One again..and stay there a long time with 10k fans every game. So we lost Brownie Cunningham and Millar to keep that twat only for him to leave first game in🤬!! Peter unfortunately you bring 0 to the table also so if you fancy following then ok and he’s been the worst manager I’ve seen at Deepdale- yet he says he’s left the club in a better place? He’s ruined the community with the fans and lost key respectably players who us fans loved at our club and his “style of play” is brutal!!

I don't agree with this " we're not a hire and fire" club. No club is a hire and fire... who wants a dysfunctional situation ever. However, if someone isn't performing....and is put on some form of performance plan, if no improvement, then sacked. That is a simple process in any job. I don't think a team should suffer because of that poor ethos. However, that being said, I welcome the change, although poor timing, and I appreciate the transparency from Ridders

In all honesty, I'd be more than happy to see Simon Grayson come back, but the old saying of it's never the same, also comes to mind. Sure he would still do a decent job, but I'd be delighted to see Heckingbottom come in too. Sure he would do a great job considering his exploits at Sheffield United.
