Interview Podcast with Xiaomi India Officials

I was in Bangalore where I had a long discussion (Podcast) with Anuj and Sandeep about Xiaomi products and there Smartphones including the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the Leica stuff and other interesting stuff and also had take up some of the questions that you had posted, the discussions just kept going after one topic to another and thus this Podcast is almost 1.2 hrs long there are lots of interesting insights that I came to know hope you like this different kind of video.

1:01:50 you people should give option to the end consumer. People stop using wired headphones because you people have force to by stop giving 3.5mm jack. The reason you're talking does not make sense. Audio quality & latency over wired and wireless headphones have a huge gap. The main agenda is to stop giving 3.5mm jack, force customers to buy tws from their brand, make some extra profit. That's all. Did not expect such type ans from Ranjit.

I completely agree. I bought a poco x6 pro and the performance is amazing and the UI is also very smooth but in general the UI looks like crap. Why do they want to copy iOS and can't even use a custom launcher without losing gestures and custom icons.

loved the video and the insights from mi officials. They are on point when they say users asking for the features mentioned are niche customers, but usually what I've seen is that these niche users have a say in what the family buys so satisfying them might help in increasing the sales numbers.

Man i love xiaomi. I owned redmi note 4, then redmi 9, now own mi 11x, a redmi note 13 pro plus, and xiaomi pad 6. I have also bought samsung s21 FE, its camera was good but man i couldn't stand the choppiness in oneui. May be it was due to exynos or may be it was slow ui. But i switched back to mi 11x. And another thing is xiaomi devices give built-in DAC which directly connects a dongle with headphones and is very reliable as compared to samsung which doesn't have it. The only thing i would want xiaomi to change is 'SLOWER AND FEW UPDATES'! even thinking of buying 14 ultra...

3.5mm jack usage dipped because you tech co stop giving it. The BT is nothing but ewaste in 1 to 3 year even it's 10k+ headphone. I totally disagree, it's an excuse, look Sony they are giving it, they are also giving mSD card slot, and ip68 And BT audio is just not as reliable as 3.5mm, you can easily see difference even in streaming service (not even FLAC) And this is coming from a long time mi user. From redmi 2 prime - till now

2+1 Sim slots in UPCOMING note series is a must. Hybrid really sucks. Skipped note 12 series & note 13 series for that. if hybrid in Note 14 series Again we will skip. n28 only not n28a/n28b. give n28 5g band which will support both a&b in all phones, let telecom operators decide which one they will use

Why restrictions for Redmi dialer ?? I think Google is forcing all the Android OEM's to give Google dialer instead of their own dialers except samsung. Google is afraid of samsung that's is the reason they don't force samsung to give Google dialer as such samsung's own dialer is present across all the samsung devices.

That's because most Indians can't afford iPhones, and just for the sake of that logo and the status associated with it, they buy it on EMIs. That's why iPhone's base model is sold more. And that's also why many people use iPhones with broken panels because they can't afford to get it repaired. But most of them have a secondary, cheaper Android phablet to consume media. That's why it's not possible for companies like Xiaomi to make profitable compact phones, yet.
