As a grown man up in years, I'm bursting with admiration and respect for this lovely man, and nearly in tears whenever I hear his pure and inimitable voice.

Love this comment, you done took the words out my mouth! He was admirable to a fault, and that doesn't even make sense. It's easy to realise that alot of people in the entertainment biz are fucked, it's harder to remember that there are exceptions to the rule.

It’s always a risk watching an interview of a performer you admire greatly, but seeing how wonderful and gentle Roy Orbison was just adds to the impression of how special a man he clearly was.

You can tell by this interview what a sweet, kind, gentle, soul Roy had, and indeed he sang like an angel. I wish I could have seen him, but I was only two when he died, tears.

Allison Burke I was an adult when Roy Orbison died. My father had been a fan for decades. Only recently did I catch on to just how remarkable he was. I sure wish he were around so I could go to one of his shows. After seeing the video of "You Got It," which is one of my favorite songs, I feel cheated. I sure wish he had stopped smoking. What a kind and remarkably talented entertainer. One of a kind. RIP, Roy.

@@pissedoffdude1 known as a gentle and loving but also very sensitive and troubled soul and who often had trouble coping. He had enormous talent but great trajedy befell him in life and he coped with it partly through addiction. It was finally too much and he sadly passed the year after this interview at age 52. R.I.P. Roy Orbison you are loved and missed by so many! 🙏😢❤️

I saw Roy Orbison live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Australia, when I was in my late teens. He was amazing, just came on stage, stood in front of the mike with his band backing him and sang and brought the house down. No strobe lights, smoke bombs or dancing girls just pure entertainment. Brilliant. What a loss. Sad. R.I.P., Roy.

What a great privilege it was to be able to watch this interview of one of the greatest singer's in the history of "Rock & Roll. His talent was amazing and his beautiful voice made him one of the greatest singer's in the world of music. I have to agree with Elvis, Roy Orbison had one of the greatest voice's ever in "Rock & Roll", it's such a terrible shame we lost this great talent at such a young age. Roy's music will go on for many years to come and thank's to KZbin the whole World can still enjoy Roy's amazing talent.

What an Icon to have on "Good Morning Britain"... Interviewed by hairy hands Richard Keys himself!... Shocking comment saying "ohh you've put some pounds on since those days" and being ignorant asking him about his eyesight AGAIN when he had already explained earlier on that it was fine... Such a nice, humble person who had been through so much tragedy with his wife & 2 boys dying so young... I was only 4 when he sadly died but his music has hit a chord with me ever since I was little. Thank you & God bless you Roy.

Rob C British people are just more genuine. After 25 years he could have said you look a lot older, but he didn't look very much different apart from putting on a few pounds. He did look pretty skinny in the older clips they showed. If you want to hear a real insult, you should meet my mother, she always opens her mouth before engaging her brain. I much prefer this style of interviewing than the American interviewers, they are what I would call brown nose interviewers. It is so sycophantic. I thought Roy looked very relaxed, and it seems to me that our modern political correctness brains, were enraged to hear a normal human interaction from 32 years ago.
