Jim is smart. He actually knows what he is talking about. One day I'd love to have a conversation about mythology or extraterestrial life with him! :D

@Cody111079 As Jim said, "People kill a lot more for religion than they do for greed". "More people have been killed in the name of religion than for any other reason" - George Carlin. I absolutely think he's familiar with Carlin! Both, great people.

Why did Jim consent to this interview about religion and the questions of life haha. Just ask him About his music

Why? Maybe he likes those questions, instead of the same old “what gear are you using?”, etc.

greed comes with anything, ppl can get greedy with feelings or thoughts not just monitory or tangible things. ppl get greedy for control which is a big part of religion, being able to control a mass group of ppl through fear. you can get a lot out of ppl when you use their fears against them. learning about all of that shit & how manipulative it all is & how it's seeped into everything around us subconsciously has been a learning experience i will never forget. i hated religion before i got involved when i was around 23-24 because of how judgemental the ppl were when i was a kid because i had piercings & dyed hair & listened to bands like slipknot but i wanted to b different than i was before for a number of reasons (not the music & piercings & shit, for more personal reasons) & because i wanted to get away from an ex who wouldn't leave me the fuck alone, i didn't know how to get away from the parts of me that i didn't like but i couldn't get past all the bullshit that comes along with religion so i went back to my old "fuck the church" ways because honestly it's just apart of me. i believe in god, not the god of the bible i hate everything about that fucker but i believe in whatever it is that's inside of us keeping us going as an energetic being. god is just an easier term to "explain" it i guess.
