Taylor and Frank deserve it. They were on some really bad Lions teams. Appreciate having them on our squad!

I wish my parents were here to see this. They were Lions fans through and through, even during the bad and worse years. They are cheering our Lions on from above 😊

Frank hated that injury question. He got frustrated with us fans talking about his retirement. Great interview. LOVE THIS TEAM!
@edwardmurphy53712 күн бұрын
Good call, of course he did. However it was the best question of the interview! So many of the 'casual fans' have absolutely no clue how many players are playing hurt (especially this time of the year) and what these guys (especially NFL veterans) go through to stay on the field. You are 100% correct, great interview, and I also LOVE this team!

As a diehard Lions fan since 78 I'll admit I've struggled with being a fan of a Lions team that wins. Last time I had hope Bret favre crushed them. I'm willing to learn though. I did it with the redwings

Love the appreciation for the O Line, the team would not have survived this season without them. I know they are a tight group, and telling response to injury question. Tells you how much they suck it up, so that they are not removed from the lineup. Boys are certainly earning their money, pray it's all the way to the Superbowl.

You’ll never have a top notch NFL team without having an O Line comprised of guys like these two. O line is the core!
@snow30172 күн бұрын
I still remember one of the Oline "experts" saying the lions should immediately trade Decker after they drafted Sewell because he doubted Sewell could swap to the right side and Decker was a piece that someone would give a 'decent' pick for and the lions needed to rebuild.

Detroit has always had a special place in the collective heart for the gritty guys. From the Wings grind line to Laimbeer and Mahorn making life in the paint miserable for the opposition during the heyday of the bad boys, the town loves guys who play with heart. I'll give Quinn credit for drafting Rags and Decker. I remember Deck getting frustrated with the reporters in 2022, telling them how close the team was to winning even if they couldn't see it. And the rest, as they say is history. When they hoist the Lombardi I hope Coach hands it off to these guys first. They stuck it out when the easy, more profitable thing would have been to walk away. That's the definition of a blue-collar player.

Make no mistake. As a season ticket holder I appreciate both the O Line and D Line. The BIGS are the foundation, if they aren’t successful the team isn’t successful. One Pride.

Dominant O lines are the engine. I remember the Steelers in the 70s, everyone talks about the steel curtain. But their O line, sleeveless was dominant. Bradshaw and his weapons would not have been the same without them.

We HAVE to win the big dance this year... we MUST. Jeez, it would be GREAT at the same time a shame if we don't. If Hutch never went down, no one would stand a chance. Hutch Alim and CD... those are MAJOR losses. Barnes and Anzo and Commish... that shit happens. Losing those big three, though, was devastating. Hopefully, we can get the timely tip pick or the punch out once in a while... Hope for good karma for management doing things the right way. Score baby score. We need to put up 34 a game from here on out.

How many dumb athletes have you seen interviewed over the years? That is not what you hear when you hear any of the current Lions being interviewed. There is athletic ability, but Campbell has collected a group with an added skill set, they seemingly are as smart as the coaches that are guiding them. That is rare, in any situation. For a pro team, that is almost unheard of.
