Sam Reid said in an interview recently "If people can't see that Lestat loves Louis then we failed". But I think it's pretty obvious to most people that yes, Lestat is in love with Louis. He wasn't just manipulating him or trying to see if he could get him. He is completely in love. He swooped in at his lowest moment to save him in the only way he knew how. Louis was contemplating killing himself....Feel bad that C can't see that.

I just have to add - "Bruh" has been used by Black men since the 1890s! I wouldn't know if it was being used in New Orleans as well, but it was absolutely in use before that.

Lestat really saved Louis life! Louis was not gonna make it through that night of Pauls funeral thats why lestat rushed the transition. Imagine lestat pretending to enjoy eating food and just having long convos as besties before louis became a vamp. Lestat being all giddy reading louis mind and wanting to give louis the freedom to not have to hide his true self. Lestat really fell in love at first sight 😂 louis bringing his man to meet his family and trying to play it off as business partners will never not be funny to me. I hope we get more scenes of them before claudia next season from lestats pov. How much more dramatic it would be 😂 Louis saying he was being hunted wasnt true, he was being courted and he did fall in love with lestat, he even doubles down in season 2 saying no matter what he knew he would always say yes to lestat in the church

Yes to all of this. Louis was trying to repress his feelings because, as he said, he couldn't be an openly gay black man. But Lestat could hear his thoughts so he knew exactly how Louis really felt. And he also knew he was on the verge of suicide that night so he swooped in and offered him what he saw as a saviour.

He wanted Lestat though. But his repressed sexuality meant he tried to hide it. But Lestat could hear his thoughts so he knew Louis wanted him. He also knew Louis was on the verge of suicide or a mental breakdown so he offered what he saw as a way out.

Lestat is the victim. Louis, since episode one, season one, has been nothing but a lying, unredeemable character. He is the personification of a weak, narcissistic man. He lies, cheats, steals, drinks, and is concerned only with himself and destroys everything around him because of his jealousy. He destroyed Lestat, Claudia, and his family. The part is very well written but that character did nothing but lie and complicate things from day one.

Actually can't blame you for liking Rashid/Armand/Amadeous/Alandofmakebelieve etc. Even though he is a master manipulator and horrible person, i don't hate him 100% let's just see how long that lasts though. Team Claudia first and then maybe Rashid or Daniel.
