Thank you for avenging that poor dog in Valentine! I feel like I've seen that exact same thing happen before when I played. I might have done the same as you if I had seen who did the crime. I also hated the bait and switch nature of the misleading quest markers. It's almost like they know you want to put off doing big story missions so they intentionally mark them as a "smaller" member of the gang. 1:57:57 I would absolutely love it if you did a playthrough of a stealth game! Even just an immersive sim, like did you play Prey 2016? I feel like that would be a super fun playthrough to watch. 2:31:53 Classic moment of John being comedically oblivious. "Is there a clock somewhere?" while looking directly at a clock on the pause menu. 😂 There's also a clock on the street directly outside the vampire alley, clearly placed there for the player's benefit 😂

Algernon's quest is AWFUL. Hours of wading around in swamps, spamming Eagle Eye, dodging gators and looking for flowers. I think I did the first one when I originally played on PS4 and then gave up. When I replayed RDR2 on PC I used a trainer to spawn the flowers and the birds and found out the reward is $750, a unique double-action revolver and a fancy hat. I was very disappointed.

A couple of ease of use tips: you can press down on the d-pad to show info about your location, the time, and the temperature. You can also press left on the d-pad to open your log and see all your challenges, item requests, and other things much easier than going into the pause menu. This is a very fun playthrough and I'm very much enjoying the pacing

This has been such a lovely series, especially good for holiday and home improvement anxiety drowning... As someone who played so much of rdr1 and 2, I could easily be one of those nasally whiners, but the playthrough has been such an enjoyment that I don't even care if it's not done 100% the way I did it. @@tommen.baratheon ooohh i must have missed that! but tbh i meant in main cast lol. there's certainly speculation that Arthur may be bi, or pan, given he doesn't react when Charles (the artist) kisses him or when (spoiler for something that hasn't happened in John's LP yet) he's assumedly SA'd by that guy in the cabin. but if we're talking minor and bg characters, Charles the painter would be one of them (assumed bi or pan), Mr. white and Mr. black, the guy in the cabin i mentioned above, most likely the guy that runs the train station in Rhodes, etc.

It's not on the nose who isn't straight BUT if you look closer or investigate thoroughly, you can find out personal information that adds depth to the characters (even super minor ones). My favourite example is the guy searching for Gavin. Meeting him over and over tells a tale but if you rob a letter off him, you actually find out more - though still vague. I just wish you didn't have to assault these people in order to satisfy your curiosity lol

Another way to check the time is by tapping down on the d-pad and it'll show at the top of the screen (I didn't even know you could literally check the pocket watches for the time tbh I learn new things about this game every time you upload lol)

The Keiran death surprised me, didn't see it coming at all tbh. And Sadie is awesome, one of the best characters imo. 1:48:32 he said What do you need? As in food or drinks. Funny enough my horse got a compliment at the same time lol, I have the wild White Arabian horse. Lol can't believe this, 3 times I travelled to Annesburg to do that tesla coil professors mission, attacked by a perfect cougar, so had to take that to camp. Second attempt, attacked by a perfect black bear, had to take that to the trapper. 3rd attempt lol, killed another perfect cougar. All the times I went looking for these animals, all of sudden I'm a magnet for them. Maybe the 4th time will be the charm.

That’s some dedication sticking to the vampire side mission. I think you can lasso him and bring him to the sheriff too. But taking his vampire dagger is better. I think it’s a fair criticism about how obscure some of the extra missions are. Like the vampire one is not easy to find off the bat and then there’s a race and a one hour window to make it there when it could just be a pop up that happens as long as it’s night out. I think they should’ve removed some of the precise timings on the extra missions you find. But it’s a nit-pick on a really solid game.
