Your reaction to the portrait of Halsin was priceless and pretty much like my own only I got Shadowheart and different ones since. 😂 So the portrait he draws it can literally be any of your companions as he never draws you. It’s either bugged or because painting everyone’s different custom Tav is hard to implement? So yeah random companion instead lol

Hey John! I’m still really far behind (part 27) but I wanted to say I’m enjoying this so far! Thank you so so much for keeping me company while I clean, chill on the couch or during lunch! Can’t wait to really watch this video in like… 2 months lol

I love how excited John gets when he pulls off hold monster😂. Yeah the Orin fight was very underwhelming. I was looking forward to her fight the most too

I love watching your videos and your friends seem to be fun. Unfortunately your friend Dom is really hard to listen to. He's really loud and kind of annoying. You John carried the rest of the team through the full game

I really like it to see Doug enjoying games outside of his usual asym archetype; I think it's just really neat to see him so happy and excited about experiencing new things.

I *just* finished the original Skyrim mod last night, the 2nd time I've ever played it through, and it's so interesting to see what they kept or expanded on vs what they didn't compared to this version.

I'm pretty sure John said in the shareholder video that this was prerecorded but I wonder if the way into the villa is the "leap of faith" the whispering voice kept yappin about and into the pool

And this a big reason why Astarion is popular. Yes, his looks of course. However, too many can unfortunately relate to him. Plus Neil did a phenomenal job.

As a copywriter, I live for the couple of seconds in a video where John mentions something annoying that copywriters have to deal with. I feel so vindicated.

Hmmm, a mysterious figure wearing a hood/hoodie near a river who has a coin and has the name "Karen". Yeah, it's Charon. Almost certainly.

Re Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within copyright claims--you'll get a claim on the intro song (not the prologue, but the song for the game's intro when Gabriel is at his typewriter), so head it off at the pass!

When you figure out how to get the bow, head over to Desius right away. It unlocks a quest that is different from the rest of the game. It's my favorite part.

Spoilers for getting into Malleolus' villa. . . . . . . You can jump from the cliff into the villa pool (and survive, unlike Ulpius). That's why the statues keep commenting "leap of faith." Or, the really easy way, since you have money now, is to give Domitius 1,000 Denarii in exchange for the key.

This has really sucked me in! I kept hoping you would try jumping off that point like the voices say. They've been helpful so far, so I have to believe it's a hint. Then again they could just be trolling, who knows. I keep trying to figure out how on earth you'd make the vines support your weight. It's not like we can strengthen them right?

The Golden Rule being broken was pretty scary. I like the time loop - you can redo all the mistakes you make, and not worry about the time limit. There’s some connection between Kherty and Karen. Are they the same person, or same entity? Sentius is so eager to die so the player can get a redo. Aurelia won’t be attracted to the player until the end, I guess. The assassin is so annoying! I bet Jesus Christ is the right answer - he may think your a Christian and can’t be in the cult. I was wrong about the lover! I wonder if you tell them about Sentilla’s fate, will they stop their attempt? I wondered if Ulpius was a clue as to what happened to Iulia. I had no idea Aurelia was like that. I’m surprised that theft of money and freedom to live isn’t counted as a sin. Octavia barely tried to intervene with Ulpius - she took two steps and then just stared. They should have been that you have to select “I think I know the sinner” before you can make Sentinus act.

The whole river part of the story reminds me of the Charon who brought people to the underworld in Greek mythology. Maybe it's Hades who's involved somehow? But this is Rome...hmm
