I spent three days in Melbourne talking with him about the website his new book, El Habano Moderno and various other subjects related to cigars. This interview delves into my three days with him down in Melbourne relating to the subject matter of the website and the book.

Alexander is a persistent aficionado. Rebuilding the database and writing a hard copy preserves a portion of cigar history. What a great conversation Dave!

Nicely done interview! Interesting to learn about the origins & evolutions of the Cuban Cigar website- definitely filled in a lot of the blanks. Fascinating timing of his book as the end of this “modern era” and hearing Alexander’s thoughts on the recent eras/ phases in relationship to his & the Min Ron book.

I actually did try the vegemite while I was down there on buttered toasted bread I was told that you only do a very thin spread on the toast and don't slather it on Done that way it is quite delicious I also did a few other things as well in the culinary area that were very delicious Parma, Gozleme, Moreton Bay Bug Spaghettini and Capricciosa pizza Cheers
