Ik this comment is quite old but I agree💓 whenever I want to escape to a new world in my mind for a while I sometimes listen to her music, it's magical and unlike any other artist I've listened to. She encourages me to see the world as if I were I child, living presently and taking the small things into account, she also encourages me to be my self, to find freedom and I love that❤

this is some true woman-on-woman solidarity right here! what I love about this is that even though you would think they're kind of from different worlds, at least judging by appearance, they still get along so well and the interviewer doesn't get weirded out or awkward by aurora's unique responses like some interviewers do. and she truly listens to her and respects her & doesn't think of her as "less than" because of her out-of-the-box appearance and personality.

Wow Alicia is exceptionally very good!! You can really tell Aurora is very comfortable and even when she needs time to say what she means, Alicia waits patiently and responds in kind to her answers. I just love these little things about Aurora that makes her who she is. "Fighting monsters and riding on a dragon", almost made me cry. She makes the fight itself seem like something to look forward to. And on difficult nights, these things would really help.

I went to see AURORA live in Manchester, England on 10th October, and it was awesome...just the most wonderful live music experience in a looong time. The band (of course) performed some of the material from 'Infections Of A Different Kind - Step I', as well as some songs from 'All My Demons...', but I'm sure there was a song or two not on either??? Great interview as ever, Alicia. Thank you.

Aurora said her only personal song in the new album is "infections of a different kind" in that song she is agnostic and questioning gods abilities. i think aurora is going threw a "new atheist" faze. im a big fan, i just couldn't help but notice she said that song is personal to her and she's clearly taking jabs at god so to speak.

I don't think she would like to label herself as agnostic, religious or similar. She prefers to be a free spirit that can ask all sorts of questions in her art. Still I would say she is very dreamy, ethereal and spiritual minded by nature. Which I don't find so common among agnostics :)
