What a Great guest! I appreciate that she’s real, truly cares and calls out those that don’t. I like that she explains the difference between psychologist and psychiatrist and the mental health of a person. She’s so right about the TV shows and movies about the same bs tied up in fake bow that causes people to be armchair psychs, so dumb 😑🙄 that they think they know what they’re talking about. It’s actually sad & quite mean. Thank Dr Das for having Kerry on, VERY interesting and informative. Much love 💜

Psychopaths never disappoint ...... And they never ever change no matter how much therapy their given. It's their nature. Professionals are so ego driven in thinking that their intellectual approach has the effect they can help or even change them. It's the one lesson they as professional s refuse to hear or certainly don't want to hear.

Interesting video I enjoyed it .Kerry was my psychologist when I was in park villa (locked rehab) she is the best psychologist I had out of all of the psychologists I had when I was in hospital. In park villa when we were sat in the living room watching tv and Kerry would appear on the tv lol and the patients would say is that Kerry? .Lol

This is great to hear. You both take on a very challenging job. Its great to know that your patients get this level of care, thought and accountability. The people that need your help NEED professionals who are motivated to be excellent. Thank you both. 🙏

When Kerry is talking about TV criminologists and crime porn, my mind immediately wondered whether she was thinking of Professor David Wilson. I know his latest TV series, "In the Footsteps of Killers" has been been really condemned by a lot of people. It'd be very interesting to hear both of your thoughts about it, and him.

The 'balance of power' between Doctor and Service user is very important. Many still see Doctors as someone 'up there' who can act as though they are 'infallible'. There are genuine Doctors who show empathy. Many still 'idolise' Doctors and 'use' them to give themselves 'credability'. We need to 'respect' Doctors and the genuine 'caring' work that they do. People 'love' sensational stories but do not really 'care' about who the story actually affects. Do the 'general public' actually 'need to know' what goes on in the medical world? We need to 'respect' those who work in mental health sphere. How do you overcome the 'stigma' associated with mental health issues. We still have very far to go before society genuinely 'accepts' everyone regardless of their background.

I've sent link to this site to my friends daughter who is studying psychology at Norwich as she is looking to study forensic psychology. I feel really strongly about making sure psychologists undergo maximum training and experience, as you say, you have someone's life in your hands. I hear so many people who have no training at all freely trying to diagnose friends and family etc with bipolar. It's a specialist subject.

Way too much reliance on this pseudo-science called psychology. I have seen TV documentaries about true crime where a pseudo-scientist (psychologist) give their opinion on a real life criminal, they're usually talk crap in the form of assumptions. Lastly in recent times huge swaths of women have taken up this pseudo-science professionally, I wonder why that is 🤔

Kerry's books are absolutely exquisitely interesting! I wanted to be in her line of work before becoming disabled so have great admiration for how hard she has worked to get where she is as a female especially after the mistreatment from prison guards of locking her in with a prisoner when she was first starting as a forensic psychologist, if you found this interesting then you will love her books🥰

Is it possible that her dog is barking because he hears the disembodied voice of the other person not in the room? Dogs rely on smell. There is no smell of the other person. It’s confusing to the dog.

How do you relate to someone who has naracistic personality disorder? How do stop them from bullying and targeting people. Can they actually be changed and become empathetic to others instead of being arrogant bullies.

@@th8257 I already follow her videos and have bought her book. 'Don't you know who I am'. I was 'targeted by numerous naracists' in my last job and was told to resign. The naracistic abusers all worked together to 'look after ' one another and the company just wanted to keep its 'good reputation', which in reality is a total lie. Nothing is recorded so if it's not recorded, it never happened.

This has been brilliant!! Thanks for this- I felt like I knew exactly who she was referring to re media psychologist who the MSM keep trotting out time and time again, it’s the same few faces. I just Watched Faking It Chris Watts. On discovery+. I'd like to ask Kerry if she was able to view the entire footage from the neighbor Nates camera? PLEASE I BEG u to look at the footage where the garage opens. THAT is NK who backs the truck into the driveway! She walks by so fast no one notices please slow it down as low as you can and go frame by frame it is 100% Nicole walking out of the garage to back the truck in and it kills me that she's gotten police protection and has gotten away with this!!!! PLEASE PLEASE. LOOK AT THE FOOTAGE. NO 1 can make her appear if she wasn't there. Oh yeah don't forget her phone's pinging at 6:16 a.m. in Frederick It was her friend Jim calling. And there's a red car coming out of the yard that shouldn't be there. To me it looks like they tried to time it and didn't time it right, so red car wasn't seen. The whole reason why Chris is freaking out while looking at the video at Nate's is because he knows it's not him and thinks he's going to be caught right then. Imo.

I can't believe the shameless hypocrisy of Kerry Daynes who knowingly and wickedly supported my violent and extremely abusive ex-husband and obscenely defamed and victimised me as the innocent victim. Daynes corruptly ensured my then 3 minor daughters were placed with him by corrupt social workers and is fully accountable for the devastating outcome and ruining my children's and my life! All my solicitors and barristers did not agree with her demeaning and utterly false assessment of me which was criminal in itself. Kerry victimised me after suffering brutal abuse yet plays the victim about a stalker in the past???
