I came to this as I am a friend of Yonit’s. What a wonderful interview thank you both. Everything you detail also applies to the area I work in which is CFS/ME recovery which you briefly touched on so I am grateful. Ultimately as you state, it is all the same thing emanating from NS sensitisation borne of trauma. And that identifying and metabolising this initial genesis is key. If we don’t accurately locate the fire we will be forever dealing with the smoke. The medical profession (I have worked in the NHS in London for 20 years) talk a great game when it comes to the bio/psycho/social approach but rarely if ever walk the walk alas. Top down and bottom up is the only way to approach dysautonomia. The concert of each dynamic accurately understood and attended to is as you make clear the route to recalibration and restoration. . Best wishes, Sam.

I love what you said about the dizziness being non-negotiable and the need to work on emotions as the way to get other things that you can do something about to start emptying the stress bucket. Never thought of it quite that way. It makes simple sense. ❤Thank you Dr Yo. I am so thankful and grateful for you and all you do.
