Muriel grey she's a columnist in mags fashion music all sorts back then in the 80s I remember seeing her all the time then she disaperard maybe went behind the scenes maybe researching I've no idea but I remember her as a journalist and interviewer like this and a reporter but no idea where she is now or what she's doing they disapeare from Google searches aswel like Shelagh O'Hara from brookside and Suzanne Danielle the actress and Susan George another actress but she breeds Arabian pony's and horses now so I read no idea if it's true tho

As a kid, Mozzer was more of a figurehead of a great band to me, a challenge to the norm with some interesting things to say But whenever I see old interviews of him these days, I realise how straight-up intelligent he was.

No serious scientist would dispute that animals can feel pain, and seek to avoid it. In fact, it is so much common sense, that all countries have laws prohibiting animal cruelty. You can't just take a stray cat and torture it, everyone understands that this is wrong. How then, can it be right to keep animals out of their environment, to cause them physical pain (castration without anesthesia, grinding chickens alive, I could go on and on) and ultimately (most often prematurely) take their life?

I hate it when people talk about "being higher in the food chain" when it comes to vegitarianism. A food chain is a complex and balanced thing. A subtle change in the food chain can upset the balance completely. With the food industry, there is no balance. We produce and produce, sometimes resorting to horrific methods, and gorge ourselves, with 40 percent of what we do produce wasted. That is not reminiscent of a food chain at all. There is no balance in that.

People have also waged war and killed one another for even longer. Does that make killing right? Should we just accept it? Just stating what's been happening in the past doesn't automatically justify those things. Unlike many other animals, we have the ability to reflect upon our actions or choices. We don't need meat to survive, we know this, and we know that these habits maintain a cruel industry which abuses and kills innocent beings for no reason. People have eaten meat for 1000's of years. All animals are cruel to other animals. Accept some parts of the world Morrissey. If even just refraining from shoving vegetarianism in people's faces. Like not refusing to play at a festival because you can smell the meat stand maybe? It's funny how wrong he was about being snobby about music and oppression or whatever he calls it. Because 4-5 years later? BANG! Nirvana.

preventing Morrissey from opining about vegetarianism is infinitely more controlling than Morrissey using his own art and interview time to disavow animal cruelty. it's his damn art he can say what he wants!
