Thank you Shloime and Loay, this was wonderful to watch! I am Ashkenazim living in Canada and I am so inspired by the work you are both doing (and in awe at Loay's language skills!). I truly believe in a future where we all walk free together. I am fortunate to live in a Canadian city that is so diverse and it is a testimony to how the rest of the world should be able to get along. I live next door to an Italian Roman Catholic family, a Lebanese Christian family, several West African families, and down the street from a large mosque and very large Muslim community. There are Buddhists, Mandaens, Persians, Russians, South Asians... so many ethnicities and religions and languages and cultures in my one little neighbourhood. It is beautiful to be part of. Whether it is the light of my Shabbos candles and menorah, the Christmas lights, the fireworks on Diwali, and more... our community shines brighter together. I truly believe that tolerance is not enough -- we should strive for acceptance and appreciation and respect!
