Shloime Zionce is like a ray of sunshine lighting up the world. You bring such warmth to these encounters, the people you meet then respond in kind. Loay Al-Shareef is clearly a highly gifted man who speaks several languages. I still think Shloime is very brave to travel to Muslim countries as a Hasidic Jew but he gets a great response wherever he goes. It shows that people of different faiths can get on well, even if the various politicians don't see eye to eye.

A meeting worth a million dollars What an educated man The truth is that people in the Gulf region and Iraqis are more educated and open than the rest of the Arab countries, and I do not mean that the rest are not welcoming or hospitable, but I mean the culture and knowledge of religions and other stuffs as well.

Okay, so I want to throw a wrench into this -- you need to start a Christian set of shelves -- start with the Eastern Orthodox, given you mentioned the Greek Jews I am sure you are both well aware how tightly knit Judaism (particularly among the Hasidim), Islam, and Eastern Orthodox Christianity (so the Greeks/Russians/Antiochians -- all the same faith just different cultures/languages) are in terms of theology/liturgics/ethics/culture. Again, so neat to see this and Allah/God/Hashem bless you and your families both. Best wishes from a American Polish Catholic turned Orthodox -- God works in mysterious ways, eh? :)

Shloime ambassador of borough park! While the media always try to focus on isolated disturbances and always tried to sell a biased narrative to the world, the whole story is totally different.
