Just watched Quade get the winning kick for Aussie against South Africa tonight and I cheered more than my Aussie mate. Haven't followed it like I use to and don't know too much about his controversy, but at the end of the day, he's still a kiwi and I'll always cheer for a kiwi doing well, glad to see him on the up again!!!! Great game and great win bro!!!!

Beautiful whanau who have brought up a legend field player!! You will always get haters commenting and it just reflects on what kind of person they truly are and who carry no pride within themselves. I've always adored Quades play out on the field......definately skilled, elite and ticks all the boxes of being one of the best rugby players on the field and he showed it. He maybe wearing a Wallabys jumper and who wouldn't when we as a country, NZ, are the biggest judgemental assholes you could ever come across. The mentality of this country to do with negativity is just sickening. Cheers xox

telling people they are part this and part that is a real racist way of feeling superior to some one else. what the racist people who are saying this don't understand is that they are not full blooded themselves. The difference is we actually know where we come from we know our own history. We have something they don't, we have a home ground to connect. That my friend is our Whenua our Marae. Quade Cooper and all those other part Maori have these things thats whats makes them Maori.

+Sam Stirling Dont know about that. Yeah he has the maori side step, but he aint the complete article. We all know he is hopeless at tackling,. The Wallabie management couldn't improve on that, so I dont think he would improve if back in NZ. This is a part of the game where you have to be committed at from a young age, and that is defo his archilles heel
@abielhebrew83938 жыл бұрын
wattienz Yeah that's a good point, however, the standard of Rugby Union in NZ is way higher than Australia. And the coaches as well. They would of molded Quade into something better than what Australia had already given him. JS.
@wattienz8 жыл бұрын
WOULD have ? You say. Past tense. It is too late to teach old dogs new tricks, although again I agree with you about the standard of coaching in Aussie compared to NZ. How Aussie management placed Cooper out of position and put him on the wing in defence situations was admitting the fact that he is a liability BUT Robbie Deans, a Kiwi coach with a proven pedigree record can be put top of the blame for administering this approach. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Quade Cooper, along with Kurtley Beale and James OConnor also had temperamental and off-field issues. Its a mind-set. At least in NZ, you do hear about the off-field problems (especially spouse/partner issues) that include Siti Sivivatu, Julian Savea and most recently Fekitoa, and all have not been affected ON the field, so maybe again, there is a gulf in the quality in Management in NZs favour. One thing is for sure.... If ANY player acts out of line in NZ (Guildford for one) they will pay the price and be replaced pronto.

I'm like Quade's mum, Millie. During the RWC 2011 I was embarrassed to be a NZer. Shame on NZ for what they did THROUGHOUT the tournament. Things have settled down a bit now, but can never quite forget how badly Quade was treated by his own in Aotearoa!
@barrybrown95657 жыл бұрын
He was told by a relative that he wouldnt make the all blacks which could b true but we will never really know for sure,wat we do know is that he did make it in australia and that he was good enuf for the reds and the wallabies,he won a super rugby title in 2011 and played very well carving up in the final against the crusaders,but kiwis see going ova to australia and playing for da wallabies as a kiwi and a maori as a huge betrayal which was made worse by quade doing wat he done to richie mc caw kneeing him in the head on purpose and other dirty stuff,that gave kiwi fans a reason to give it to him and they did,but it went on abit too long and the nz fans took it too far,i think now the nz fans have settled down and they need too,dont hold grudges anymore ppl hes a kiwi just wanting to play on the world stage and make sumthng of himself he most probably wudnt of been able to do that in nz too many good players.
@MrAhuapai8 жыл бұрын
I thought it was fair enough that crowds got into Quade after his initial stoush with Ritchie. But once was enough, after that it seemed like bad sportsmanship from the NZ fans.. One reason they may of continued ad nauseum was that it did seem to affect his play especially in 2011 at the RWC. He's a good player and reminds a bit of Carlos Spencer.

So what am I supposed to do paint my skin white or slowly trim the outer skin off. Go on you seem to know best how I can become a Maori as you see it. So stop calling the kettle black and think before you speak cause maybe a plastic Maori is just as much a Maori as you. Aye? maybe? aye?
