I just wish he would mention Christ more... That is the only thing. Following Christ is where it is at. Religion is not where it is at. He is right about that. I love Ringo... (Ritchie)

You're right Ringo! Anyone who doesn't love doesn't know God because God is love! Also you could be the most learned man on Earth, you could be the most gifted scientist spending your life curing diseases, you are a very talented musician, you could give everything you have to the poor so you have only the clothes on your back if you even have that, or you could even be the deepest Christian with faith enough to move mountains and even with all those things and then some going for you it all comes down to this: if you have no love in your heart, none whatsoever, you're poorer, far more destitute than you may think. The Bible will absolutely tell you every bit of this! And I would love you to get to read this comment someday soon!

It's nice to see that after all Ringo has been through... he understands that he is not bigger or better than God. He seems quite humble and grateful for his life.

God is Love! And that's great! And God's Love is his essence. And the life of God is the total surrender of all that he has. And he has Himself. And He is Love! We all get it for nothing. And if we also give freely to God and People, then life will be beautiful! Thank you to the Beatles for singing: all you need is love! The world has heard it!

1 corinthians 13: 4 Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. 8 Love never fails.

The Beatles were a religion to many at the peak of their fame. In 1966 more money was buying their records than filling the coffers of the Churches. However the lesson was: Don’t idolize anyone or you will be disappointed however it’s the human condition to look outside ourselves for something bigger. That creates groups which separate from other groups and that’s why there is war. However I get it. Humans have a tough time being just human and just being. We want to BE Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Aztec, Mayan whatever. American, French, Nigerian. Groups are so much safer. Now this leads me to: IMAGINE!

When a Beatle speaks, folks listen. 1966 they were considered Demi-gods however like all mortals they flew too high. That’s ok. I think George said “ People gave their money but we gave our nervous systems”.
@prof2yousmithe4446 жыл бұрын
While this is actually a great and revealing interview, there is only one God. This is a true statement, Ringo. However, we see perfect love only existing in one person, Christ Jesus. He alone saves us from our sins. Not to get all preachy but those are the facts.
@deljefferys37186 жыл бұрын
There are no facts in your statement at all you nutty god botherer😂
@prof2yousmithe4446 жыл бұрын
Del Jefferys no offense but I I live my life Christ, and he is not real, I have lived a good life. I gain nothing. However, if I am correct, and I am, and I did in Christ, I gain everything. Those whom reject Him, like yourself, will lose eternity. I wish you joy on your way. Please choose wisely.
@deljefferys37186 жыл бұрын
Prof2You Smithe Absolutely Hilarious! Of course you are privy to Knowing the one true God when there are thousands of other man made deities featuring in over 3000 known religions. If that isn't absurd enough, you then in a very loving and Christian way condemn anyone who fails to subscribe to your brand of kookery! to eternity in your silly/childish concept called hell. Funny, Funny, Funny. Anyway, I also wish you a very lovely life and welcome the diversity of our opinions. How ever I will not be signing off by wishing you eternal damnation because you don't agree with me. Because that would be very silly.

God even forgives Imelda Marcos. One day she will wake up and realize she doesn’t need 3000 pairs of shoes. Shoes don’t make you happy inside. Shoes don’t fill that empty void. Maybe Imelda will figure that out in this lifetime, maybe not. Anyway, I’m glad she at least let the Beatles leave the Country. Everyone has their own journey in life.

If you really think they died because of their "cynical negative vibes" then ohhhh boy are you wrong. And Ringo's always been so Ringoish so how does he deserve bad karma? Perhaps the reason he's not selling out huge stadiums is he was the drummer who didn't sing much. Not many people will wanna go pay to see just a drummer, and Paul's name got out more than Ringo's back in the day because of his position in the band.

A very good, and well intentioned man, but unfortunately, he falls into the same trap many people do when talking about religion, or spirituality. They call it this very abstract, and vague thing like "love", without saying where this love emanates from, or who created this love. As a Christian, I believe the word of God is contained in the Bible. Yes written by men, but as it says Inspired by, and in many instances, flat out dictated by HIm to his prophets. Remember, Jesus Himself claimed to be God in the flesh, so as some people say "I don't believe He was actually God in the flesh, but I believe He was a good Man and teacher". Well is He a liar? He said He was God. How can He be a good man if he lied about being God in the flesh? Good men don't lie about such things do they? NO they don't. You can't have it both ways. We Christians know He went to the cross in our place to pay for our sins. You either accept that free gift of Salvation, or you reject Him, and his gift. That's on you, not Him. You have to make the choice, He wont force you. He wants you to come to Him willingly, not as some Robot He forces to Love Him. That's not Love. God Bless Ringo, and the millions like him, but they are very confused about what it all means. Jesus said "I am the way...the truth...and the life. No man..comes to the Father except by me." There is no other way to eternal life, no matter what anyone tells you. IT's through Jesus Christ alone. He said it, I believe it. Do you?
