2024- I can still picture Tegan Nox holding a championship belt, namely the WWE women's tag team championship with Liv Morgan. Back in the early part of the 2020's, Tegan would've been part of the Riott Squad with Liv and Ruby Riott on the main roster, preceding Shotzi and Ember Moon. It's just too bad that WWE missed the boat with the Riott Squad!!!

Nxt did a terrible job to make us care about Tegan. It's a shame. Last week we had a good cross package with Io but that's not enough. She needs to show more personality through vignettes or itws. To be involved in better storylines. Character way too generic for the moment. Nothing really special. Dakota stands out, Raquel too. Because of their look and attitude. They have characters easier to distinguish. Its been a long time coming for Tegan. She should have been on top earlier but there were the injuries. She's pretty and talented but something has to be done about her character, who she is. It needs to be developed. She needs something to stand out. Even shotzi stands out more because of her look, hair color and cool vignettes with the tank. Io is different as well, great heel/babyface, japanese language, great vignettes, great wrestler, unique aura, atmosphere. Rhea is different too, larger than life. Tegan looks very 'normal', 'regular' by comparison. Something has to be done. You can't just be a good wrestler with a come back story. She could be in a tag team with Ripley or someone else or something to help her if she struggles to connect with the audience. She won't be able to connect without a more defined character. It would be easier as a heel maybe. Joining Dakota then turning on her later. As a babyface we would need vignettes showing her personality, doing great things outside to help the community, videos with children, that works well. Showing her teaching something or wrestling to kids idk. Or showing her taking care of animals. Showing her training nxt rookies at the performance center, sharing her knowledge. We need some positive reality about Tegan. Not just the old come back story even though its true. I would focus on the now. What does she do outside of the ring that would make a regular viewer like her because of something she's doing, the way she lives, her mantra, life philosophy, life lessons, what she had to endure, you can tie the never give up attitude that led to her come back but go beyond that. It has been done too much. Maybe she overcame way more difficult things. What are her hobbies. Show her being amazing at something. Chess, swimming, lifeguard, volleyball, tennis, speaking chinese, whatever.
