Susan Barranco Of course kase it was only months after the arrest pa nagformalize yung kaso in terms of legal proceedings and presentation of evidence... pero matagal na yung attendance records.. hindi rin tinanggap lahat ng records... hindi tinanggap na magtestify yung mga witnesses ni paco... pati si paco, hindi binigyan ng chance mag testify at e-defend yung sarili nya... and on top of that, after the final conviction, years later, nagpakamatay yung Judge na yun.... oh, sabihin mo pa rin na kaduda duda... nang hindi man lang binigyan ng chance ang akusado mag paliwanag at ipagtanggol ang sarili nya sa legal na proseso... kase sinigurado yun.... There's wisdom in Paco's eyes. Wisdom of a man who had been through so much, had seen injustice up close. What I like about him is he never once cried on camera (at least from what I've seen). Kasi tipikal na sa ating mga Pinoy ang paiyak-iyak sa camera, but he was dignified through all of these.

Sinabihan nga syang lumabas na ng Pilipinas , either sa Spain Or US kasi nandun brother nya. But he chose to stay cos he knows he is innocent. But little did he know, he was almost persecuted even more ,a death penalty. The judge said hindi nya mapapatawan ng death penalty dahil hindi nakita yung body at walang malakas na ibedensya. Ayun kaya pinatay si Judge.

Iniisip ko din na maraming rapist dito, everyday kailan mo mag ingat lalo na pag nag wowork ka kasi maraming reports ng mga pinapatay lalo na rape malalala pa na case. Pati mga inocenteng trabhador na hoholdop, sa balita halos walamg araw may reports ng ganun kaya natatakot ako para sa papa ko lagi bumabyahe sa daan. Pati na din ang mama ko dahil sa walang opportunidad dito ay umalis at doon sa saudi nag trabaho. Tayo lang ang nga pilipino ang mga pinaka ganito. Bakit hindi pwede na hindi na umalis ng bansa katulad ng pag aalaga ng gobyerno sa mga mamayanan nila hindi na nila kailangan umalis. Tapos dahil sa walang ka desipilahan ng mga pilipino madaming napapahamak. Pag nagawa na dun na lang sila mag sisisi. Maski nga pag tapon ng basura sa daan, nag tataka ako bakit sila hindi sila na kokonsensiya na mag tapo kung saan saan mga plastic bottle pa. Sasabihin ko pa bakit hindi nila itapon sa tama sasabihin pa nila na may maglilinis naman yan. Kawawa nama yung nga street cleaners. Pwede naman itapon sa lugar. Samantala ako hindi ko kaya mag tapon sa kalasada kahit maliit na kendi. Ilalagay ko talaga sa bag ko bago itapon. Iniisip ko kasi dahil sa mga doon kaya bumabaha dito ng sobra. Hindi ba nila inisip yun tapos pag bumaha iiyak sila. Kasalanan din namna jila yun dahil sa ireponsable sila sa basura manlang. Pati sa tamang pag tawid hindi rin magawa. Madami pang pasaway na driver at police officer. Pwede bayadan para lang makalisot hindi ko naman nilalahat pero karamihan. Mga pulis pa ay kakilala ako pwede siya pumatay ng preso kung kailan niya gusto. Sasabihin pa niya na deserve nila yan kasi krminal sila. Hindi naman sila dapat ang mag dedesisyon niyan pumatay! Nakakaloka. Nalulusutan nalang nila. Nililibing nalang nila sa likod ng kulungan. Eala silang kunsensiya. Mayayabang sila offficer nga lang sila dapat sila ang mag desiblina hindi sila authorities. Mga tauhan sa gobyerno mayayabang. Tapos mga vendor sa kalsada kung saan saan nag susulputan. Nakakatulong sila sa sobrang ka trapikan. Akalain niyi yung sobrang lala ng trapik sa pilipinas. Halos nakain na buong araw mo sa biyahe palang kaya husle mag work lalo na sa malalayong lugar! Maliit pa sahod minimum lang etc. Madami pa. Kaya hindi ako magsisisi mag migrate sa ibang bansa. Hindi ko naman sinasabi perfect sa ibang banse pero mas ligtas siya kesa sa pilipinas

...as a cebuano and grew up witnessing the case, media was to be blamed for a one-sided reporting that perhaps planted hatred on the people towards the suspects especially on paco which I myself felt that time towards them as well given majority of them are from "wealthy, political family"and that time also everyone was paranoid on everybody's security thinking anytime and to anybody this same abduction and crime might be happen...but after seeing this film, it moves me seeing the other side instead...judge ocampo's death was a big controversy by then and have seen how media and chong family reacted that time...and it is sad that young boys like paco though they have known for their "bully thing" (although is true) were misjudge earlier on the trial without solid evidence but basing on their reputations and past records only...this is so sad...so sad to paco and the rest of the suspects...may God comfort the oppressed and heal the pain of the one suffering the injustice!!!
