It's hard to imagine that this eloquent/well spoken, calm, very down to earth, polite (bordering on humble), man transforms -on stage- into this very flashy show-off that is Cardinal Copia. 😁 Fascinating!

That bit about the stage hands it really sad and disappointing. If it makes anyone not from the US feel any better about the southern states, I'm from Texas and drove 3 hours to watch Ghost play in Oklahoma, and they got a lot of love from those of us in the audience. There are plenty of goofballs in the states, but there are still a lot of us who aren't like that (I'm a Christian btw, lol).

Being a Christian there are certain things I don't like about ghost "certain lyrics" BUT I love their music. Tobias is a musical genius! I love how their music is well rounded and not just one genre. I love the heavy and really love the poppy stuff. Also, Tobias is very friendly, smart and treats everyone with courtesy, especially the kids. He also has a wonderful voice. I'll be seeing them in August 2023 in Cincinnati. Rock on Tobias 🤘

I'm a Christian as well and definitely get your point about those lyrics. I gotta add that I' ve been able to distance myself from these. I dig the vibe but don't take it personally because I just don't share the same spirituality but I do share the same fun and enthusiasm. And that's what should be the most important thing, right? I'm just glad to see other Christians enjoying their awesome work!

I don't pay attention to the dark themes. It is all just theater. Having seen interviews with Tobias. I think the last thing he is trying to do is convert people or selling blasphomy. As a young kid, I use to love old horrer movies- Lon Cnaey, Bela Lugosy, Claud Raines, early black and white horrer movies (I am in my 60s). I find there music and definitely is very reminiscent of that.

I love Ghost but let's get one thing straight - they're not Satanists & they're not even scary. True story.....when they played at the London Palladium ages ago, we hung-around outside, afterwards their guitarist emerged & we practically made him cry. He was having some sort of argument with his English or American girlfriend, a few of us laughed & he went fucking mad, virtually bursting in to tears. It wasn't this guy in this interview, it was the one who looks like the racing driver, Sebastian Vettel. Anyway, as an aside, they also had 'Pappa Johns Pizza' delivered to the dressing rooms via the backdoor, which I thought was funny considering the whole 'Papa Emeritus' schtick but yeah they were good live & I like them a lot, but they're not satanists!.

@akshay52952 жыл бұрын
@Ghoulette of Ghost BC it may not make economical sense for them somce they won't be able to make big money in India if they arent well known. But if they want to play a show once in a while like the old days when they were underground and feel that again, being able to interact with people in the audience and play small venues, India is a good place. Mumbai, Delhi, big cities where there are good venue facilities and people more exposed to Western life. They could play at a hard rock cafe !

You know he is a great guy and well spoken. I have to remind myself that he is not from America. Having said that, his pauses get a little annoying. I mean these questions he is hit with, probably gets all the time. The questions are not that deep and the responses should be quicker and more decisive.
@Jobee29665 жыл бұрын
Rick R He takes his time because he cares and is considerate about how his message received by people. He also doesn’t always answer the same way to the same questions, he always gives a little bit more each time further then the last time he was asked. He’s complex and it’s refreshing to listen to someone that speaks as he does in interviews. I guess if you miss the typical braggart no substance entertainer watch a Kanye interview? people should breathe in between words though Lol air is important
@rickr20295 жыл бұрын
@@Jobee2966 I do not see anywhere in my statements that I would miss, let alone enjoy, listening to someone lacking in substance and carry on by bragging. I gave Tobias his due and I hope you didn't "miss" that. I find Tobias also refreshing to listen to apart from the long drawn out pauses. Many. MANY times I am waiting to hear the answer that I knew was coming because I've heard it before. I disagree that the answers evolve. And if so, very little.
