I was in a band that had the pleasure of opening for these guys twice back in the early 00s. I was so intimidated by Ryan. “Oh, he’s vegan, he hates people who eat meat!” You know, rumors and stupid bullshit. Then I saw him on stage with that beef jerky mask on and I freaked the fuck out. I wish so bad I’d have just went up and spoke to him. But, because of all the dumbasses here in my town, I believed the hype and just left him alone. What a fucking idiot I was! 😂
