Kudos to the sound engineer who managed to salvage whatever little audio from the other mic because the wireless one clearly stopped working midway

I would have asked him about the island that the kid sees in the movie towards the end. For me it looked to be inspired from Lord Ranganathar in Anantha sayanam pose in Paar kadal. Now that he says he travelled to South Indian temples before writing the book, I am 100 % sure, thats the reference.

When Yann Martel said Salman Rushdie is a great indian author Anuya' expressions: Aaammm..I don't think so! Sharin's expressions: See anuya, even the Booker winning writer admits this!
