BattleFinger (JDCR, Jundding, Saint) wanted to create more tekken content (not only playing video) and talked to TakTak. Thankfully, he agreed to provide his channel to upload our whole content since he has a lot of subs. Definitely he is a member of BattleFinger but also still upload footage from arcades.

3:12 Im curious now, whats the difference between if u just sidestep or do a forward dash and then do a sidestep, in both tactics you perform a sidestep, but why is a dash important?
@wolfganghumboldt48308 жыл бұрын
if you do a dash first you are representing things to your opponent. baiting a reaction out of your opponent. that is just one thought. you could do that with all kinds of things in mind. that is just the first thing that came to my mind.
@darksouls97748 жыл бұрын

Forward Dash or f/F after SS align your char to face the opponent.If you SS your char will not be facing the opponent. But if you do Forward Dash or F, your char will change direction to face opponent.

tekken is a very difficult game. i sincerely hope Harada san will include a very good tutorial in tekken 7. tekken reclaims a lot of dedication because every character possess almost 100 moves or much more. it's so unbalanced because you need so many informations.
@Aku.S.K.8 жыл бұрын
That's not true. As with any game you'll gain experience and knowledge by playing it. Obviously, you should probably not go for a character that's very heavy on execution like Kazuya or a character with a dozen stances like Lei or Zafina. You have to get acquainted with the mechanics of the game and as such Paul or Alisa would suit you better. They don't have a huge move list, thus making it easier for you. That doesn't mean that they can't easily fight on par with the more advanced character, though.
@SuperHaoken8 жыл бұрын
you're making my point when i said the game was unbalanced. true that characters such as paul and alisa are easy to play and do not required to master the fundamentals like mishima or jin. but that's prove the difficulty of the game. paul is very cheap, capos are ridiculously cheap, ling is cheap, hwoarang isa bit cheap, (strong punishment, strong pressure, you have to know their style to have a chance). no need to backdash and wave dash or even side step. but look kazuya or bryan: you have to work to get a hit. the sister williams, the 3 kazama are incredibily difficult to use despise being incredibly dangerous. ewgf is so inconsistent because of the lag. plus tekken is really difficult. the backdash, and the rest help to defend yourself against cheap characters. without hit, it's almost impossible to win. mastering the movelist is not enough
@Aku.S.K.8 жыл бұрын
I'll try to explain it in a different way, so maybe you'll understand what I mean. To play Tekken at beginner level you need to know a tiny bit about everything. To play Tekken at a higher level you need to master the fundamentals i.e. dashing, ducking, blocking, jumping and sidestepping and you need to know the ins-and-outs of your chosen character. To play Tekken at the highest level you need to know the ins-and-outs of every single character, as well as, being able to respond in the best manner when fighting them. The fundamentals are then second nature to you. When it comes to the characters then you have to think of them as tools. Simple characters like Paul and Alisa are like a kitchen knife. A rough lump of steel, clumsy, but it'll do the job. Advanced characters like Mishimas, Nina and Steve are like a scalpel. They require technique and finesse to be used at the utmost potential. You can do pretty well with simple characters, but they don't even compare against the advanced characters in capable hands. Also, capos most likely won't be in Tekken 7.

The most important part of Tekken is understanding the frames. Then you have to learn the movement. Then proper punishment. Combos are the easiest part. Then practice and git gud.

that's great i hope this channel becomes more like a "news for tekken" and still going to upload lot of matches
@NYG58 жыл бұрын
I think Tekken is confusing because the hit detection is so inconsistent, couple with some little nuances with the animations. For example, with sidestep, your character ducks a bit while moving laterally. That little duck is what enables you to escape the hitbox of opponent's attacks. When you sidewalk, you stand straight up, and don't have that little crouch evasion. That's something you can't just see right away, it takes a long time of experiencing live in game and realizing what works when.

Rage Art is BULLSHIT and has nothing to do with tekken! once you beat your opponent up he can just by one click use rage art in the perfect moment and can turn the match or even win , and you cant do anything about it .. it has nothing to do with skill or anything just press buttons and it does everything on its own. Tekken is a fluent game , move side step , block , punish , combo ... and not that Dragon Ball , Naruto Streetfighter shit fuck rage art! Rage drive i would say is ok ... its blockable and doesnt stop time like rage art .. its in the game .. also those attacks where you actually hit/punish your opponent but his hit just goes through your punch ... no tekken
@blaketheparonite917 жыл бұрын
Skenderbeg Shala can't do anything about it? everyone loves it. it adds a new layer to the game and makes the last part of the match the most exciting. if you think there isn't anything you can do about rage arts you're not good yet and need to practice. when almost no one complains about a mechanic and you do, the problem is you.
@KeithJamesChua6 жыл бұрын
What the hell are you on? Rage Arts are blockable as well, and most of them are VERY punishable on block. It adds more variety in the game and keeps players on edge to be careful. Rage Arts aren't things that can just be thrown out and win the game easily. If you keep getting hit by them, you're either dumb for not knowing to block and be careful or you're always playing with people who time it really well.
