Unmani’s Message
So often we go through life feeling like we just don’t really fit in or believing that there is something fundamentally wrong with us. Perhaps we have a sense of something beyond this ‘mundane’ world, but we can not find a way to live and experience that. We grasp for help in any way that we can, in order to survive and live with the pain of feeling separate and alone. Perhaps we try to find what we are looking for in spiritual practices, or perhaps we try to find it in our relationships or work. But whatever we may find, only gives us temporary satisfaction or relief, and then again the same sense of pain and separation comes back and endlessly drives us to search for something more. We long for rest. We long for real peace, wholeness, freedom and love.

Unmani was the first satsang I went to in 2009 in Amsterdam. It profoundly changed me. I don't know exactly what happened or how, but it felt like something changed ever since. It felt so intimate to get up in front in the chair and sit so close to her and look into her eyes. I just felt truly seen and welcomed by her without judgement and with total patience and acceptance. I felt I could trust her completely, which I find really difficult or impossible with most people.

Lovely interview... thank you so much! Unmani is such a powerful energy/presence and her pointing has "laser" nature ... i felt the same when i met Gangaji. I met Unmani in 2007, it was a saturday meeting, and after having few minutes dialog in front of a big audience i was literally out of time... and it was for few days. @@dcktater7847 there’s something larger that guides me in life occasionally which I called God, but is not what I mean actually… There’s just an internal knowing that when I am connected, I am very grateful for, but I think we both may mean something else in this conversation, which is fine😊
