This resonates with me a lot! Regards, from a 45 year old lady that has been diagnosed with MS and burn out one year ago. This happens when you had a traumatic and chaotic childhood. When you’re living a life of not being authentic, totally ignoring your needs and prioritize everyone else. Not having the ability to enjoy life but just struggling through it like a living dead. Sooner or later your body will let you pay for it.

@@NaStashaLeBlanc i know what you mean. I have gotten many insights since I was diagnosed and I realised that it’s crucial that we change our attitude towards our selves. We have been programmed as children, and we learned to behave in a certain way as a coping mechanism to survive as children. This doesn’t serve us anymore. We must dig back our real, true selves from the mud that has been covering us. We must value and care for ourselves. We too deserve to be happy and have balance in our life. We too deserve a life that doesn’t feel like torture. We can only be ourselves. What we want and need matters. We matter. At least I understand this intellectually but the hard thing is to rewire your brain. Not easy, but we must remember that it takes time and to never give up.

Forever grateful for Dr.Gabors knowledgeable ❤heart ! His empathy outwardly shows what a fabulous Doctor he is! I have learned so much! His book is amazing ! My daughter suffers from fibromyalgia, dysautonimia, pancreatic cancer survivor, and so much more and she is brilliant! She is successful, educated, funny, and beautiful, and she is suffering! I feel helpless, though I too have a healthy background medically and we are never giving up! One thing I clearly acknowledged and still do, is her stress ! He is correct, in that our emotions show up on our physical being ! I am now working on physically getting closer to her so that we can emotionally be in a state of happiness. I will never give up! Dr.G! Ty for giving me hope and heart to help my baby girl! Are you ever in California speaking ? I just bought your book for my daughter! 🎉❤😊 much respect!

You’ve explained me, my mind and body. I’m in recovery 35 years, have had bad chronic pain after accidents, emotional upheaval, have had ace’s growing up, trauma in my adult life, constant stresses over the years. Now, I have Sjögren’s, thyroid, Fibromyalgia, horrible spine pain, anxiety, depression . Nothing I have tried over the years has helped any of my suffering. It’s amazing that I’m still here in this life. It’s like I can’t do a damn thing about what all has happened and the ramifications of my childhood, adult life and accidents. It’s a shame really that the only answer is to make pain my friend. Back to therapy again. Thanks Dr Gabor..really enjoy your talks!

Thank you so much for loading up this material. Personally it helps a lot on my healing journey. May those in their way to personal healing get peace and positive vibes of this video in despite of the triggers that may arise. Everybody wants change, but nobody wants to change... Is perhaps through changing that we flow with life, that us we all know at this point, nothing remains the same, life is constant change, an in order to survive and live healthy, respectfully and civilized way, we must adapt, observe and try to understand life's changes. Time is what we lack. Even though, we must not stop going forward. It doesn't matter how slow you go, the thing is to keep moving. May the world slowly awakes into the new way of living that is coming, awakes peacefully and be part of a big family, only thing, we must learn to observe and control calmly out own animality. You can connect to them from the UK or anywhere- they do zoom sessions and they are just as effective as in-person (I've done both). After exploring so many different types of therapy and practices, I find it to be most complete with no need to become dependent on therapy or medication or a specific thing. It is one way to true empowerment and self- healing. I've also gained a lot from somatic therapy.

The voice over, for the most part, does not reflect Mate's message, and is an elementary-level interpretation stuck in the mainstream, unevolved paradigm. While he is emphasizing the link between unresolved emotional trauma in childhood to habitual adaptations which are the genesis of physical breakdown and disease, while the voice over keeps repeating the "split" between the "unconscious" mind and the body. His entire point is that they are NOT separate and don't "impact" each other as if it is possible to separate the person from the environment. It's a very poor interpretation that fails to articulate his seminal message of emotion/body integration.
