Honestly, maybe you should have addressed his scrupulousity. That is a symptom. My advice to anyone who is a Christian. Never tell your psychiatrist that you're a Christian or that you have any kind of supernatural feelings or awe of the universe. And also, how are you going to help this guy with his self-worth after being abused? So you just Get him a diagnosis? It might help to learn a lot about REBT which was devised by doctor Albert Ellis.

@@Libertybabe I do not get judge based on my religion my doctors. I am more than happy to show my faith to anybody because I'm not ashamed and because it took me out of witchcraft and to be honest nobody knows this; I am ex Luciferian. Christianity is so much the better choice my doctors know this, and I have insight of delusions and moments of clarity. I understand that you're a Christian too and happy I meet another Christian. For the abuse part I am getting treatment and I'm starting to forgive as Christ told us and mental health has been doing well due to good treatment from my place I go to. God bless and I wish you the best.

@@Libertybabe Yes I have been getting help for my mental illness and I do not deny my lord. My doctors know this is the better choice for me because I was living in delusions with 15 yeas of ex-new age witchcraft and being Ex-Luciferian. I am getting Treated for the abuse I'm not in suffering anymore now I have a plan for my stalker bully. The whole mental health team that has me understands that Christianity is my reality not a delusion. I don't have religious delusions because I associate Christianity as reality.

Have schizoaffective as well and found your interview really interesting. Been turning to God for guidance as well. What's the difference between intrusive thoughts, and thought insertion? Sometimes I get the feeling of a pre thought or understanding without the understanding, and I don't know what its going to say and it just spits out coherent words. Or sometimes I will just go eee in my mind and when I access a thought, random sentences will spit along side my thought. I find it helps my mind and to get myself out of my head if I focus on what I'm seeing and my movement, and it will clear my mind, and I will hear more whispers if I bring my focus on to my ears or listening sense. I try to rationalize what my voices are, but its hard not to think they are from some other source rather from yourself. They seem so real.

I'm worried with the pit fall of hyper spiritually and awe of supernatural being intertwined with Jesus. What if you came to believe that you are healed in Jesus name and stop taking meds because healed people don't need meds? My 18 year old daughter has schizophrenia and she's remained disabled for 3 years due to that belief. She sits alone in the dark and talks to Jesus only and she can't function. She isn't in touch with physical reality. Makes me not to fond of Jesus. The pentecostal healing churches think that her intrusive laughter is being slane in the spirit. It's terrible. It's not time for heaven yet. Jesus has disabled my daughter from having a life.
@carolmcquiston41147 ай бұрын
Her diagnosis is not Jesus' fault. Disability is a disfunction and needs attention and care. Jesus has compassion for those that are suffering. Many people are healed by Jesus, and He does not curse His people. Medication is the vessel by which she can get help.

I did that too, thought I was healed by Jesus 🙄
@k.hotting48516 ай бұрын
I'm very sorry about your daughter. I think in this case you are projecting to much though. This man has never spoken about not taking medication and has possibly benefitted from his faith in God. ( And I'm not a pentecostal Christian. )
