I had the pleasure to sit down and talk to Abhinav Sinha who is one of the co founders of the company Good Dot.
GoodDot was born when a group of friends decided to come together for a common cause. They wanted to make the world a more humane place for animals. Having witnessed the unbelievable cruelty involved in animal agriculture, they decided to create a solution that was good for all. According to GoodDot, we believe that the main reason why most people eat meat is its taste. If a product could be created which not only tasted like meat but was an ethical, healthier, and environmentally sustainable alternative to animal meat, people would happily make the switch.

I visited their Bandra outlet in '21. When i first tasted the fried chicken, it was insane. Completely agree with Aravind and his feelings. I also had fhe unmutton keema and the biryani. Absolutely amazing.

I ordered the unmutton kema. It's so tasty. In 4 years of me being vegan I have finally eaten a mock meat which tastes exactly like mutton. Thank you so much. I will definitely be a regular customer.

Lab highly processed meat................. If you or anybody really want to be vegan then why does he or she try vegan mutton or plant-based meat ??

@@hriksinha410 I was brought up in a family in which nonveg (chicken, mutton, fish and egg) and dairy products (milk, curd, cheese, paneer, butter and ghee) both was served on daily basis in every meal (nonveg daily in breakfast as well). I went vegan because I valued the pain and suffering of animals more than my taste. When I get my taste in a cruelty free way l will want it. Vegan mock meat does not have any antibiotics or steroids in them ( chicken is killed when its just 40 days old while naturally they become adults at 6 months) so mock meats are any which ways better. If you are a non-vegan please go vegan 🌱 as it is good for the animals, good for the planet and also good for you.

@@rewananadar1547 I believe in a balanced diet...Both veg & non-veg... I don't eat normal market chicken...I eat country organic chicken, and mutton, with vegetables, fruits...etc..There are lots of vitamins, and minerals that are not present in vegetables or fruits

@@hriksinha410 You seem to be a health conscious person so here are some facts: 1. Red meat (mutton etc) are carcinogenic (cancer causing agent) according to WHO. 2. It is a myth that well structured plant based diet are deficient in vitamins and minerals. ( exception is supplementation of vitamin b12 is . Its like eating iodised salt. If against supplementation sea weeds like spirulina and chlorella can be eaten) 3. To live sustainably is as important as having a balanced diet. Animal farming causes about 25% of greenhouse gas emission. Please for the sake of dying animals, nature and yourself go vegan🌱

Before saying about the cancer in red meat 1st check the amount of red meat that causes cancer. Now please check the original research in the blue zones & check their diet & you'll see they all are consuming balanced diet of both veg & non veg

Don't be afraid to do the right thing. Explain your position against animal cruelty with passion and sound reasons. If they really are your family, they should atleast accommodate to you being a vegan for basic needs. And if you have any questions you can just ask online here or almost anywhere else
