I worked for Eddie Blundell on the ice cream. Billy had a baby with my mates sister. They were never threatening to the workers. We were just kids. The heavyweight boxer Funso Banjo worked with me. He is the father of the dancer Ashley Banjo. I knew Lenny Wiltshire from the Dagenham Working Mens Club and Peter Costa because he ran the doors in the area. Anyway, I was young and these people were already quite old. I never got involved and went to work on a Monday morning. For all their stories, the Blundells were the only people that had money and that came from selling ice cream, a good business. Everyone else wound up with nothing, having done a lot of bird. So kids, enjoy the stories but don't go down this road. The best you can hope for is to do time and spend your old age with fuck all.
