Why didn’t you ask whether he recommends the electrical or mechanical version? I am really not sure which I should take. The electrical one can have a response time of 30 ms, whereas the mechanical one has 100 ms. Scientific research recommends deploy time of under 70 ms. However, I don’t know about the reliability of their black box algorithm and endurance of the gyroscope and accelerometer.

The airbag pants needs to be electronic, nobody that actually rides their motorcycle more than 10 miles each year likes the strap and it has proven to be flawed by Helite themselves.

Where did Helite state that the tether system is flawed? I am doubting whether to get the mechanical or electronic version of the bag

@@davidhartmann4174 On their fork sensor test video they clearly show how the mechanical system is flawed. Get the electronic version, there is a reason no other airbag vest manufacturer has pursued any mechanical versions. The strap is flawed since if you don't end up getting launched AWAY from your bike the airbag won't deploy. Also do you really feel like putting a seatbelt on every time you ride? I wear the Alpinestars tech air 5, people don't even know that I have an airbag vest on and never has the battery died on me.

I trust the mechanical more then the electronic. You should get your fact straight to said that the mechanical is flaws.

I’m in Michigan USA I been waiting on the mechanical backpack airbag for over 6 month to purchase for my son and it still out of stock. can you tell helite to hurry up and produce them. also once that came in I wanted to get my son your airbag jeans
