Listen to Kurt....total respect for a guy who says "I respect Madonna for introducing the Vogue dance, which comes from the dance clubs in the mid 80s....". And he's at the top of his game . This guy knew his business well... He's missed. He'll always be missed.

housesoftheholy he was the most down-to-earth, anti rockstar, ever... but that lack of self esteem and self worth is what I blv was his downfall. I miss him every single day!!!

in 1993 kurt started taking a new pill against his stomach pain that worked better than heroin. i think that that pill made him act a little like a baby sometimes. he's so funny. he wasn't suicidal at all

You do realize he's fucked up as all hell in this interview right? Lol
@NoelG7027 жыл бұрын
Marco Piscopo His stomach issue was fixed in late 1992. In December 1993 he said he had not had a stomach problem in over a year. And I heard it was a pinched nerve in his back but Kurt said they gave him some new medicine for his stomach. Who knows exsctly what it was. I think as the years went by he used it as an excuse to take heroin, even if it did kill the pain.

Jeez, makes me wish the 90's were back, or at least that the people and cultural attitude today were like it was back then. Just a little more genuine compared to today.

how can a person "seem tragic"? given the circimstance you are correct,, im just curious what you mean as to say, he seems tragic.

AutumnAsh81 I think it's kind of a subconscious thing. We know how he died, and so every time we see an interview with him we think "I know where this ends".

Melody Aubert Watching interviews with him you'd have no idea he would be capable of taking his own life, he always came across as self aware and intelligent, I do get the sense that he didn't get a lot of genuine pleasure out of life though, which is why I guess people turn to drugs.

What he said about British bands at that time is so true.. I remember going around gigs in the UK as a teenager and I'd be lucky if I can think of 5 bands out of loads of the bands I saw that I'd listen to now.. Britpop was just a total crock of shit.. The fall, blur, the wedding present, mcklusky and I can't think of a 5th, at that same time I'd kill my pet hamster to see likes of nirvana, pavement, 3Ds, The clean, sonic youth, smashing pumpkins, soundgarden.... The list goes on but my problem with Britpop was that it didn't really say anything... Or at least not to me.. I was in a town rife with drugs and violence and here was fucking Noel Gallagher telling me I'll live forever, and sleeper going to Vegas?? One song I identified with was powders afrodiziak, and no one would play it due to the lyrics, if it hadn't been for Steve lamaq an John peel I'd never have heard of half the bands from abroad that I've seen.. Rip John Peel!! 🌈
