yo soy de México y tengo intención de adquirir un equipo de esos para cuando vamos a la playa, pregunta no sé si se necesite un permiso especial para andar así en el mar yo se q el mar y la playa no tienen dueño es federal, pero embarcaciones yates y pequeños botes si son regulados, la duda es de eso botes inflables quizás con remos no hay problema, pero ya al utilizar un motor de gasolina ya es otra cosa.

Very Nice. I just dont know if I would trust my Excursion 5 on open water though. It doesn't handle waves or rough water too well because it has a flat bottom which is more suited to lakes and rivers.

hey, sorry for the delay. Well, I used on the sea in a cape where the waves are not too high. and as a recomendation i always sail close to the shore. safety first!! cooper!! The problem with the flat bottom as soon as you increase the speed hte surface generate vacumm effect so the boat start stretching as acordeon!!

thanks for your kind words. Well, regarding to the support, The original support is only for 1.5hp motor.. no more than 10kg. Originally, I installed the original support as intex says but when I tried that configuration the motor start to get into the water.. That's why I did the support higher and stronger

Has the wind ever blown off your canopy? Most I see are cross bar supports but yours are vertical. I can see the canvas wavering in the wind a little but but it doesn't seem too bad and the vertical bars seem like they would be so much easier and cheaper to fabricate. Also, yours is one of the few heavily modded boats that doesn't have a floor. Does this affect stability? Do you think your frame through the oar holes counteracts this? Thanks for sharing everything by the way, you and a slew of other youtubers convinced me to buy this.

+Zach Easter thanks again for write. The answer is not for the canopy but when the wind is too high better not to use. Remember these verticales bars are pvc. They are strong.. I remember one day.. the boat was on the beach... suddenly the wind blow to high and turn the boat upside down. One of pvc Tee got broken... For the floor. I did it once but I was too heavy to carry.. I did it with 15mm plywood coated with a antislip material... I did not use again. The stability is good with or without the floor and there is not another place to support the frame. I think the para are the perfecto place because they are reinforced and there are 4 points of traction. The speed is the same about 10km per hour máximum with 4 people... after that the nose of the boat start doing a movement similar to an acordeón...something like that... if you have more questión.. I am all ears

hahaha . well. I did it. I built the mount bracket because the intex original one is for maximum 1.5hp. The engine is 3.6hp but truly with a 2.5hp will be enough... too much power

+Billy Walker that was the main idea when I did this video. I want to show the people step by step in real time how long it takes for set up the boat. I think with a little help you can decrease the time, also with a better air pump. This one is cheap one. The material is nice, but always the maintenance is mandatory. You must washing it with clean water and hand's soap. REmove all the sand and all the dirty from the beach. Then, YOu need to dry it using a towels. finally, use a vacuum machine to suck the air from the cameras and thats all. put it in the bag and store it in a dry and clean area.

Hola Andres, lamento responder tan tarde, por alguna razon ya no me avisa youtube de los comentarios, debo meterme y encontrarlos. Bueno, lo mas importante es lavarlo antes de guardar con jabon suave, y secarlo. Luego dejarlo una horas al aire, y luego tu decides si lo doblas o lo dejas inflado medio. si lo doblas, trata de recordar como venia, y le metes unas bolsas de silicagel para la humedad. El tiempo de inflado depende de si usas la bomba o no!! si usas un compresor debes tener cuidado de no psarte de 1.4psig, por que sino lo rompes... estos botes no flotan por presion, sino por el volumen de agua que desplaza las camaras de aire.

Buenos días Álvaro, definítivamente pata corta es la opcion, patalarga genera mucho arrastre y es mas pesado. Cualquier motor entre 1.5 y maximo 3hp es la opción. Este bote no soporta oleaje mas de 50cm segun el fabricante . Yo lo use en bahia concha, en taganga, en puerto velero sin problemas. pero mas abierto como tal no lo recomendaria.

Roberto. Gracias por revisar el video. La potencia maxima es 1.5hp, por eso es la estructura adicional. Igual, pocas veces lleve el bote a maxima velocidad!!! Ya que se crea excesivo arrastre y se empieza a recoger desde la punta,

En el mar seria muy temprano, luego es una tarea muy dura... para lagos estaria perfecto remar... El motor yo te lo puedo ayudar a conseguir, o sino hay varias empresas que lo venden. Polly Valladares Gracias por ver el video. El armazón en aluminio lo construi, usando tuberia de aluminio de 1-1/4 y los acoples que se usan en carroceria de autobuses. Los dobleces los realice en un taller metal mecánico. Mira en mi canal, hay otro video donde se puede ver mas claro. Saludos

Hi. thanks for watching!! Well, I have to build a whole aluminum structure to hold it in place!! My motor was too big (intex recommended 1.5hp or 13kg.motor) for the standard Intex support but mine was 3.6hp... lol. Trolling motor are the best for that kind of boat. Due to the flat bottom there is not way to increase speed. the boat floor will behave like an accordion!!

figuefer1 Gracias por escribir. El motor es un neptune 3.6hp.( Si miras en mi canal encontrarás el unboxing de este motor). Realmente hay muchas modificaciones que podrias hacerle, tener una buena carpa y ne refiero a grande que pueda cubrir todo el bote seria lo mejor. El resto de modificaciones si te gusta la pesca es ponerle accesorioa de pesca adicionales. Yo lo usaba únicamente para ir de una playa a la otra. Cualquier cosa, a sus ordenes.

Hello. What is your feedback on your experience with the Intex Excursion 5? And when you sold it, was it for a problem that you were facing or simply an upgrade? Thank you for informing me, as i am considering to get IE5 but ur feedback would be great!! My use for this boat will not be that extensive, just casual.

@@walidzahreddine2803 thanks for watching the video. The IE5 is a great platform to start with the boating. It is big enough to carry the people and it supports many kinds of mods. I just keep it simply because I am not a fishing lover but we use to sail around different places for diving. This is a boat certified for sea but no more than 50cm waves but for lakes it is perfect. also for trolling. It is a good adquisition but I like the speed and I felt very frustrated for that because the hull is flat you are not able to go faster than 10km/hr.. So I decided to jump to the next level buying the BRIS380 also with a big motor and now, i can reach 35km/hr... but I still recommend the IE5 and also the Mariner 4. This is my personal thought., Thanks

Hola, en cualquier ferretería. Eso son tubos de 1-1/4" de aluminio. La base del.motor la fabrique con madera y la forre con plástico.

Muchas gracias por el dato. En mi intex excursión 4 es un poco diferente pero con el motor de 3.6hp se hunde mucho el motor.. Esa estructura que tú hiciste es la que solucionara todo el problema.

Si, es muy pesado, y la potencia es demasiado. La estructura ayuda a soportar el peso, pero por su diseño de piso plano en el fondo del bote no permite mas, de hecho, se empieza a arrugar como un acordeon al acelear mucho

Entonces también estaría bien poner su piso de madera forrado. Para que nosé doble. Aunque no ocupo ir tan rápido pescó cerco de la orilla del mar las olas me da miedo.

Con un motor de 2hp, estaria suficiente. Yo no lo consegui por eso compre el de 3.6hp. El piso es genial. Hay cientos de videos mas con diferentes mejoras, yo vendi el mio hace mucho tiempo.

Gracias por ver el video y compartirlos. El bote esta certificado maritimo, si no hay oleaje, ni brisa no creo que tenga problema. Los Motores electricos no sabria decirte la verdad no me gustan a menos que sean para pescar y en un lago. En el mar,.no lo recomiendo.
